Plus line at the bottom of the page enables the magazine to list more bands which are included in the magazine in order to attract a wider audience as possible

More bands= more fans Nearly all articles in the

contents page are specifically about one band, which again attracts more fans.

through direct address which makes the audience feel involved

However this image could be improved with hand gestures such as pointing towards the camera as this involves the audience even more

pages such as fans feedback, competitions and free downloads.

They give audience a chance to get involved really feel part of it.

The free download is an extra incentive to buy the magazine, a major way to attract the audience as they get something for nothing.

Free download offers something they love- music!

Double page spread Attracts reader through large

image, band name and quote.

Large image allows the reader to immediately identify who the band are/if they like them

Large band name has same effect if the bands image is less well known.

The purpose of the quote is to be something shocking or interesting, either should attract the reader to read the article.
