Introduction
• The unavoidable dilemma between treatment of mental illness on one hand and human rights of each patient on the other hand is part of everyday hospital experience.
• Involuntary treatment remains a challenge throughout psychiatric training. It should be mandatory for all trainees in psychiatry to have a theoretical and practical education and experience in the principles and practice of their own country’s mental health legislation.

Purpose & Vision
We are aiming to get 40 participants per country. We already have coordinators for: Spain, Portugal, Turkey,
Denmark, Austria and the Netherlands.
