We attracted our audience by using common conventions of action/thriller genres to address and appeal to the large action film fan base. We first set out to attract the younger audiences such as teens we did this by including young male teen actors as lead roles within our film opening, we did this because we believed it would appeal to that audience as they may be able to relate in some way and can also identify with these characters. Furthermore, we also wanted to intrigue the British audience itself by setting or film in London, we thought this might attract the British audience as it the capital of the UK and is also mega city this will attract the British audience as they can identify with the locations and area.

Another way we attracted our audiences is by using enigma codes as in the opening it is clear that a package is wanted by the antagonist, but the contents of the package is made unclear this will keep the audience entertained and interested as they will be curious as to what is inside the package. We also attracted them by using simple narratives to follow, we did this because many actions films have simple and straightforward plots as they are more focused on the action of the film rather than the narrative.

Furthermore, we included other conventions such as firearms and we did this to appeal to action film fans as they expect to see dangerous weaponry. This is almost a necessity in action films as they are iconic within actions films. In addition, we used our costuming to make our opening seem authentic we did this by using suits as in other action films the characters are dressed professionally to make it seem genuine and realistic.
