+What have you learnt about the technologies from the process of constructing the product?

+ In the previous slide I was able to show you how I constructed my front cover

for my magazine, I used Photoshop – I edited the front image and made the background blurred allowing the front image to be the main focus. Also I was able to add texts, banner and barcode to make my media product look professional. I did not use a flat plan as I was working around different rap magazines that gave me inspiration for my magazine. I also used Photoshop for editing my pictures for my double page spread and contents page.

+How have you used an SLR or bridge camera?

I used a Cannon SLR which allowed me to focus on my model for my front cover magazine, I focused more on the model and slightly blurred out the background however it didn’t blur to the extent I wanted it to, that’s why I ended up using Photoshop. I learned how to use flash, as you can see in my front cover my model is in the dark, I used flash to provide good lighting and to emphasize on the location being darker than my model.

+What websites did you use through the production as a whole

I used different presentation websites to present my planning. I used prezi and powtoon as I thought it brought my presentations to life and also it allowed to present my planning in more detail.

I have used blogger to make it easier to present my work over the course period, I also used DaFont which allowed me to experiment fonts when it came to the production of my magazine.

My evaluation consists of prezi, iMovie, slideshare, emaze and powtoon. I wanted different questions to be presented differently as it allowed my evaluation to be more interesting and also it allowed me to develop my explanation more when it came to certain aspects of my magazine – headline, sell lines, contents page fonts etc.

+What post production did you use such as Photoshop and any desk top publishing software?

I used Photoshop for construction of all my photos, all my photos used in my magazine production were edited to make the images more professional and also the images in my contents page all had a red tint so it was able to go with the colour scheme of red. I also used PowerPoint to lay out my contents page and double page spread, it allowed me to make sure my paragraphs were in line and were the same width, it gave me the advantage to structure my double page spread properly. PowerPoint gave me the ability to insert columns for both double page spread and the contents page
