Research and Planning• By researching in to similar products this helped me in my production,

as I was able to see what my target audience wanted, and what would make them buy the magazine.

• My final product was overall looked more professional than my prelim task, as I was able to understand the forms and conventions of real media products.

• Overall my time management was better, as I managed to finish before deadlines, therefore giving me time to make minor adjustments, to make my final product the best it could be.

• By planning I feel my product looked a lot better than my prelim as I was able to plan out my time and when I would do certain parts of my product, also I was able to plan when I would do my photo shoots rather than just taking pictures for my prelim on the day we were told.

Final Products

• There is no overall structure to sell lines and banners•Looks unprofessional•Not enough information on the magazine that would really make people want to buy it.•The contents page – lots of whit spaces, imagery on the top two pictures – alignment is not good.• doesn’t take on forms and conventions of other media products

• Looks more professional•The alignment of my sell lines is better on my final product, as is my banner, as it looks better when it is horizontal rather than diagonal. •The photo composition is a lot better on the final products than the prelim•There are less white gaps on my contents page, and the magazine looks like it will make the reader want to buy than the prelim.•It also takes on forms and conventions of similar media products, e.g – Kerrang
