Setting/locationThe main locations is the subway and the house where Blaze is going. The setting has been put into black and white, this is because it is

a slow song and I feel it will be best to fulfil the scene with a darker atmosphere to create tension for when the spectators view this they will find it unique from other music videos because you rarely find black and white music videos. This automatically brings to

attention that the music video is not an upbeat song and it has some kind unexpected side to it.

Costumes and propsThe costuming is urban so it fits in with the genre. During my research before recording the music video I had found that stereotypically

hoodies and trainers and baseball caps were seen as urban due to the history behind it in America. The male part in the music video includes these stereotypical clothing which I have mentioned in the list of clothing. Blaze was wearing a similar clothing, but because she’s a female I found it hard to decide whether she would have similar costuming as the male such as a hooded jumper and trainers.

My idea was to make her look urban as well as making her look attractive. For example she was wearing heels and to show off her music artist side to create a diva tension but during the narrative it changes and she looks more vulnerable with her costuming I've made it so

she feels she has to fit in with how the male is dressing. She then wears a black jacket similar to the male she is going to meet.

Camerawork and editingHere I have used an over the shoulder shot because it shows that Blaze has now come face to face with the person that she is

going to meet. This camera shot shows the narrative side from her perception. So therefore this gives the audience a feel of how she may be feeling. That she may be feeling intimidated from where she is sitting.

PerformanceThe performance side of the music video may been created to make it look as if she’s scared or nervous before she leaves to meet the male. Here attitude seems as if she doe not look

bothered but then she uses hand gestures to give clues of how she is feeling. For example for when she covers her face she uses an evil way as if she's attracted to danger even though she is scared. Also the prop of the ring she is wearing also identifies danger because it is a skull ring. This medium shot is to show her attitude of how she is feeling before the music video reaches

the narrative section.

NarrativeThe narrative section is basically the part were she is seen as more vulnerable because the male character is seen as more superior then her. The prop is still in her hand when she dies and takes the shot. I have not used a shot or put in the shot where she is seen

shooting herself within the game because I felt this would be to dangerous for viewers to watch because someone younger then the age range suitable may watch this. The conventions of this shot put both characters together and shows the end outcome to the

music video narrative section.

Genre and how the music video suggests itThis shows the genre through costuming and the gun. During my research of RnB/Hip-hop. I had learnt that baseball hats and hoodies were a main essential in a music video to clearly state to the audience that this is a RnB/Hip-hop music video; it’s a way to clearly identify the genre. Also Gun shows that it is a dangerous side to the music video and within this genre this convention straight away shows the genre fairly well

due to the different types of props used within the RnB/Hip-hop genre such as money, girls, weapons and cars.

How characters are introducedIn this new scene the character is introduced with a tilt. This convention can be used very well by introducing a music artist in a tantalising way. This is because the camera slowly tilts upwards creating tension for the audience to be excited what the next

shot will be.

Special effectsI had used an extreme close up framing this is to focus on a certain body part. This shot adds significance to the scene,

when the lyrics reach a meaningful part of the song; it gives an impassioned speech to the audience. This is a useful cinematic tool and feel it provides a certain level of intimacy with the audience. The eyes play an important role in the

music video because it provides great "cutting points".
