Greetings First Baptist Family, What a great night Tuesday night! It was a great blessing to see so many of you come to the Empowered Sunday School Training event hosted at FBC. Thanks to all that came to learn or that came to serve. You made the night a success. This past Sunday we began a new series entitled Champions for God. We are studying from Hebrews 12. Last week we saw the importance of examining the lives of other champions. This Sunday, we will look from Hebrews 12 again. Please read the entire chapter two times before church. Make plans now to join us on Thursday, August 18 at 11:30 a.m. in the Fireside Room for our regularly scheduled Sen-ior Adult Luncheon. Since the date of our meeting coincides with the beginning of a new school year we will have a Back to School theme, so you can ex-pect some surprises! Our guest speaker will be Bryan Bogle, Administrator of the Winn Parish Medical Center, so bring a friend and come join us. The Back to School meal will be provided by the church, so sign up in the church office if you plan to attend.
