Exploring Andover's history can help students of all ages build strong connectionswith their community and develop the skills needed to make important decisions for

the community's future. We need help from volunteers like YOU to share theseengaging programs with students!

School programs are provided at the Blanchard House and at local schools. Programs

are typically 1-2 hours long and take place during school hours. Occasional afterschool programs and weekend family programs take place during the year. Our

training program and volunteer schedules are flexible and provide hands-onexperience and training materials.

Our current volunteers include former educators, retirees, as well as parents and

people from all different work backgrounds. Have a friend that is interested involunteering? We're happy to allow you and your friend lead programs together as a

team! Anyone looking for an engaging volunteer experience, enjoys working withchildren, and has an interest in local history can become part of this great group of

volunteers!
