Imagine for design #1Our materials are Cotton Balls, Foam, and Sand.

The advantages is that the sunlight will go to the sand on the bottom which will make it hot and then the cotton balls will get ht, and the foam will keep the heat inside.

The disadvantages are that the materials over heat in the solar oven then the item inside the solar oven could burn .

Imagine design #2

Our materials are Sand and foil

Are advantages is that the sand and foil will heat up the box

Our disadvantages is that the foil will burn

Create for design #2Our heat score is a solar oven maximum temperature subtract from the control oven -11+5-5=5 is the total.

Our score is the number of minutes it took to cool down which was 5 minutes.

Our total impact score was 5.

New score for the solar oven is -11.

Page 18: Evelyn rojas design a solar oven

ReflectionOur improved design did not work because it doesn't have a lot of heat and and the temperatures were lower the temperatures were lower because it didn't Have a lot of insulators.

If we could improve again we would put a lot of more things like more cotton, foam and sand and the temperatures are going to be more higher because its going to keep more heat in.
