Mumbai : FIFA’s 3rd Annual Conference 2017 FIFA’s 3rd

Annual Confer-ence was held in Mumbai on 24th March 2017.The confer-ence was well re-ceived with par-ticipant members from all over In-dia. Total of 220 members attended all over India out of which 114 members attended from Mumbai.

Members from around 40 cities like Ahemdabad, Alibag, Amravati, Aurangabad, Badla-pur, Bangalore, Bhavnagar, Chalisgaon, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Dhamangaon Rly, Dhanbad, Dimapur, Guwahati, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Jalgaon, Kolkata, Man-gaon, Mumbai, Nagothane, Nagpur, Navi Mumbai, Navsari, NewDelhi, Panaji, Panvel, Pen, Pune, Raigad, Rajkot, Ranchi, Roha , Satara, Shillong , Solapur, Thane, Tinsukia , Va-dodara, Varanasi attended the event. The highest attendance after Mumbai was from Pu-ne, Nagpur, Guwahati, Ahmedabad and Amravati.

As any other previous event, the FIFA Annual Conference both moved me to tears and energised me. Ashwin, India's first cerebral palsy engineer, moved us with his story, filled with pathos, interspersed with a sense of humour and based on a rock solid friend-ship with Bharat. Ashwin's mother's fight with life made us cheer her on

Later, Ramdeo Agarwal and Motilal Oswal proved that chemistry must work, even before eco-nomics for a long-lasting partnership based on trust.

This community draws its strength from one another. The evidence was visible while sharing the joy of Roopa listening

to her client from the last decade. Lalit Tripathi from Ranchi reminded us of M S Dhoni with his six hitting vision; Srikanth Bhagavat from Bengaluru taught us all to be humble and learn from our mistakes. Ashish Goel broadened our vista in his inimita-ble style by letting us in on whom he secretly admires and envies; Amit Bivalkar goad-ed us to have process, structure & technology for growth, but on the bedrock of real-ly strong partnership with clear roles allocated. I for one admired the moderator skills and memory of Nilesh Shah when he spoke to the Fabulous Four.

While we look forward to the next annual event, we were left salivating for more in the inci-sive curtain raiser of the Last FinalMile report which only highlighted that at the end of our financial advice is a human being, and how understanding his thinking and preferences may help us and the mutual fund industry grow leaps and bounds.

A big thanks as always to the unstinting support of the AMC CEO's, CIO's, CMO's and teams by their pres-ence, participation and in-volvement with FIFA.

TECH EXPO 2017

Foundation Of Independent Financial Advisors (FIFA) organized TECH EXPO 2017 held on 18th March at Kiranshree Portico , GS Road. The Tech participants were IFA NOW , GO Digi-tal, NSE NMF and InvestWell. FIFA also welcomed all the IFA’s across the Northeast at the event.

The TECH EXPO offered an ex-clusive platform to all the Tech Partici-pant to showcase their innovative product related to Mutual Fund Invest-ment where the fo-cus was to highlight investment through digital based platform.
