EVERYDAY LIFEIN SPAIN

When you're in Spain, you should know a little about the everyday Spain. In

this way we as tourists will be able to more easily move among locals.

FOOD

• The Spaniards love to eat. Food is always in the company of family

and friends..

• Comedores - Cheap eateries in the country, offering them a large portion of simple taste, are very popular in Spain

• Restaurants - Expensive dishes according to the offer. During the siesta is cheaper and the single meal. The average meal for one person costs 19 to 20 euros.

• Bars - Offer a quick and easy dishes such as pita, baguette, tortilla, chips, salad.

CUISINE• Spanish cuisine is diverse. Breakfast must be sweet: cookies

(galleass), deep-fried dough with chocolate (churros).

• Throughout the day, apply hot and cold snacks (tapas): fried potatoes (patatas bravas), green peppers fried in olive oil and sprinkled with salt.

• Lunches and dinners are eaten late and they are very generous. Spaniards love wine, coffee and tea mint and camomile.

TRANSPORT

• Bus and rail in Spain is very well organized.

• Buses are modern, comfortable, air conditioned. Public transport ticket costs EUR 1, you can also use Bonobus card, which entitles you to 10 journeys.

• Tickets can be purchased at the stations, the driver and the vending machines.

• Rail connections are also well organized. Are divided into different classes because of the speed and driving comfort.

ENTERTAINMENT

• Spaniards like any entertainment. Very popular are the musical-theater and dance performances.

Ticket prices are from 5 to 15 euros. Cinema screenings are also common. The films are

usually dubbed.

NIGHT LIFE

• In Spain there are a lot of different pubs. The most common beverage serving cold beers. Reside in these natives and

tourists. Are a large group of fans who watch the huge television screens of their league matches. In the evening

and at night there is a big crowd there. Open until 3-4 in the morning.

STORES• Stores are open from 9.00 am to 2 pm and from 5

pm to 8 pm.

• Every day from Monday to Friday, the trade fair with food on the selected date in a given locality.

• Everywhere in the villages can meet supermarkets. Relatively cheap are Mercadona and Opencor.

• In Spain they are called fashionable ,, flea markets” that take place mostly on Sundays in the squares and stadiums.

PRICES IN SPAIN

• For those who like to walk around the shops Spain is a paradise - the prices of some goods are cheaper than in Poland. Goods are cheaper

primarily due to lower watt. It pays to buy fuel, cigarettes, alcohol, clothing, shoes and children's

items.

• Lunch in the restaurant - from 7-10 €

• Bottle of water - 0.3 € per 1 liter• Bread - 0.7 €• Coffee or Tea - 1.20 €• Orange juice - 0.89 € per liter• Beer - 1.50 €• Wine - from € 1.50 per bottle• Petrol - about 1 € per liter• Cigarettes - 3 €

SPANISH SIESTA

• Siesta in Spain runs from 2pm to 5pm. All the inhabitants of this country meet in restaurants,

cafes that together with family or friends to dine and dessert. All offices, schools and banks are then closed. Travel only work in big cities and

supermarkets.
