James Brighton is an example of a young entrepreneur who had been in struggle before he reached his top. His struggle was the bittersweet experience that he would never forget.

“That was when I started to realize that I have to do something to change my life entirely,” he said, remembering his tough times.

James is now a successful Financial Planner at one of the renowned insurance company, Prudential Assurance. He started off as a New Quality Agent in 2012 and from that moment on, he never made a turn back even though he stumbled upon a huge rock so many times ever since. At the age of 30, he now has everything which he considers as ‘the things to be happy about’—financial freedom and quality time with family.

“Being an entrepreneur is not easy. You have to stay focused and always remind yourself that you are doing the business for the sake of your survival. I had been through a time where I didn’t even have a penny to buy food and I had to borrow from the loan shark to accommodate with my expenses. And that was the peak of my hard life. I kept on asking myself when am I going to end this suffer and suddenly there was this one day when I went online and listened to a motivational video from Brandon Burchard. He talked about how you can take charge of your life. Until then realized that only I can make the change to my life. Not anyone else,” he said.

He now earns over RM20,000 a month from the business and he never sees a brighter future than this. He proved to people who had make fun of him about his dream and career and he has now become that somebody he wanted to become.

When asked about how he treasures his life now and then, he said, “Words can’t describe how blissful my life is today. It is so lovely that people can see the change and they wanted to follow what I do. Somehow, we gave them motivation and inspire them to be what they want to be. I am grateful with what I have now. I just want to help more people to be successful like me. That is what I am up to.”

“The key to a successful life is to stay focused on whatever that you do,” he profoundly told us.
