English Translation: Community health Cabin: step into the cabin, stay away from the chronic disease

In general, fiber-rich carbohydrates have low glycemic index than processed carbohydrates. Select a large number of non-starchy vegetables, such as green leafy vegetables, beans, salad, tomatoes. Eat whole wheat bread, brown rice, oats, barley and other whole grains instead of white bread, white rice, pasta, noodle and other refined food. Limit starchy vegetables, such as potatoes or mixed eating of starchy vegetables with lean protein and fiber, protein and fiber release energy more slowly. Examples of food: High glycemic index food: Potatoes, bananas, white bread, white rice, French fries, refined cereals, flour pastas, soft drinks, sugar, sweets. Low-glycemic index food: Most of the beans, broad beans, peas, raw fruits, raw wheat, oats, wheat bran, barley, whole wheat grain products, brown rice, couscous.
