EXCLUSIONS COMMON TO BOTH CAR/EAR

Civil commotionWarlike operations

Loss or damage due to

Nuclear reactionRadioactive contamination

Cessation of work

whether total or partial

Loss or damage due to willful act or willful negligence of the insured or of his representative.

An amount prescribed as excess in the policy, which is to be borne by the insured in respect of each and every claim.

Loss discovered only at the time of taking an inventory.

Loss or damage due to normal wear & tear, gradual deterioration due to atmospheric conditions or lack of use , rust, scratching of painted or polished surface or breakage of glass.

Exclusions to section I-Material damage:

The cost necessary for rectification or correction of any error during construction uncles resulting in physical loss or damage.

Loss of or damage to files, accounts, bills, stamps, securities, notes and the like

Packing materials like cases and crates

Consequential loss of any kind of description, lack of performance etc..

Loss of or damage to vehicles licenced for general road use, waterborne vessels or machinery fixed on floating vessels/craft or aircraft

EXCLUSIONS TO SECTION – II (THIRD PARTY LIABILITY)

i) The amount of excess mentioned in the schedule of the policy to be borne by the insured per property damage claims.

ii) Expenditure incurred in doing or redoing or making good or replacing or replacing anything covered or coverable in Section-I of the policy.

iii) Liability consequent upon:

• Bodily injury or illness of employees or workmen of the insured or members of their families

• Property belonging to or held in care by the insured or his employees.

• Any agreement by the insured to pay any sum by way of an indemnity or otherwise, unless such liability would have attached in absence of such agreement.

• Any accident caused by vehicles licensed for general road use or by waterborne vessel or aircraft

Exclusion specific to EAR only

Exclusions

• Cost of rectification or correction of any error during erection not resulting in physical loss

• Operational deficiencies• Contractor's Plant and Machinery loss or

damage by its own explosion/mechanical electrical breakdown/derangement

• loss of or damage to files, drawings, accounts, bills, currency, stamps, deeds, evidence of debt, notes, securities cheques, packing materials such as cases, boxes, crates;

EXCLUSION SPECIFIC TO CAR only

The cost of replacement, repair or rectification of defective material and/or workmanship, but these exclusions shall be limited to the items immediately affected and shall not exclude loss or damage to correctly executed items as a consequence of an accident due to such defective material and/or workmanship.
