Jon joined LV= in November 2017 and is responsible for the Digital Strategy & Propositions. A key part of Jon’s role has been to progress our transformation roadmap and strategy

He was the leader of the first comprehensive e-transformation project in Turkey for the Koç group, and he became the Strategic Planning Manager of Koç IT Group. He also established «BookinTurkey» the first online-travel e-commerce model in Turkey and «Tanı/Paro» the first direct database management&marketing company in Turkey. He was the Operations and Planning Group Manager and then Strategic Planning Manager at Tanı. In 2004, he became the Business Development Manager for Arçelik Corporation. From 2005 to 2007 he worked as the Marketing Group Manager for Arçelik. As the Marketing Group Manager he was responsible not only for production plans and pricing but also new business development projects and CRM management.

In July 2007, he started working as the Strategic Planning Marketing Director in Avea Communication Services Corporation. In January 2009, he became Corporate Customer Segment and MVNO Director and Acting Strategic Planning Director in AVEA Telecommunications. In June 2010 he became the General Manager of People Communcations Media Agency. Since June of 2010, while working as professional manager he also invested in other businesses as one of the Turkey’s first angel investors. Gordon Johnson, Global Head of Optimisation, Temperature Management Solutions, leads DHL’s Cold Chain Optimisation team, a consulting group which designs transportation solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and success in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector.

Gordon began his career with DHL in 2004 and was one of the founding members of LifeConEx – a joint venture start-up formed by DHL and Lufthansa Cargo. He has held various roles throughout his career at DHL, primarily focused in corporate strategy and innovation, product development, and risk management. He is currently leading the creation and implementation of advanced analytics tools designed to increase compliance with Good Distribution Practice and reduce shipping risk for Life Sciences & Healthcare companies.

Gordon earned his degree in molecular biology and biotechnology from Florida Atlantic University in 2003, and holds an executive certification in strategy and innovation from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Mohammad is a Senior Data Scientist at Apple and Lecturer at Stanford University. Prior to joining Apple, he worked for Samsung, Bosch, General Electric Research and UCLA on predictive modeling projects. He received a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside and B.Sc. from University of Tehran. Mohammad is the author of

the book, ‘Applications of Mining Massive Time Series Data.’ He has also been a keynote speaker at more than 20 Data Summits/Conferences around the globe.

As the Regional Director for Central Asia, Azerbaijan and Mongolia Andrew Beklemishev is responsible for IDC’s rapidly expanding business in these developing markets. He oversees and participates in all IDC research, market intelligence consulting, and IDC events in this region. Mr. Beklemishev also leads the dynamically growing IDC Global Smart City practice in the CIS countries. He has over 15 years of experience in IT and telecommunications. She is now the Head of Analytics at Badoo Ltd, a social networking company based in London with a number of successful apps such as Badoo, Bumble and Chappy.

Accommodation and travelEach delegate will be responsible for their own accommodation and travel expenses, however GIA Global Group s.r.o. will negotiate and offer the best possible rates for its delegates in the same hotel in which the event will take place.

Cancellation and substitution policyIn case a delegate would like to cancel their participation for some unexpected eventualities, such requests must be submitted in written form and sent by post or email four weeks prior to the event in order to obtain a full credit note for any future event organised by GIA Global Group s.r.o. The fees charged are strictly non-refundable.

In the event that GIA Global Group s.r.o. cancels a conference, delegate payments at the date of cancellation will be refunded in full. In the event that GIA Global Group s.r.o. postpones a conference, delegate payments will be credited towards the rescheduled date.

PaymentAll fees for the conference include hot lunch, refreshments and conference documentation and presentations. Please note that payment must be received before the event and within one week from the date of the invoice issue date.

Event programme and locationThe organisers reserve the right to make changes to the programme without notice and to change the location or the date of the event or confirmed speakers.

Data protectionGIA Global Group s.r.o. agrees to keep clients’ information confidential in its database. The client gives GIA Global Group s.r.o. the authority to keep their information in its database and use the information in any way necessary in connection with the event.
