Mandeep Singh was a human resources professional prior to joining the EMBA program. Since graduation, he went on to become Senior Vice President of HVS Executive Search and recently founded his own hospitality consulting firm, Hospitality Human Capital based in Las Vegas, U.S.A.

My time at EHL was a trans-formational experience for me. I immediately became immersed

in the different cultures, the curriculum and the extra-curricular activities. This, along with the personal develop-ment coursework was instru mental in my evolution on both a personal and professional level.

Also, beyond the context of the business knowledge I gained, I learned that hospitality is more than an industry — it is truly a mindset — and this mentality now carries me through every aspect of my life.

Maggie Chen, Assistant Professor of Marketing, is a global professional who has worked in the hospitality industry in the United States and Taiwan. She has taught at the college level in Switzerland, France and Puerto Rico.

Professor Chen’s Digital Marketing course explores how and why new digital media are changing the marketing landscape and influencing the marketing mix of hospitality products and services. In this course, you’ll review strategic oppor-tunities to provide personalization and dynamic customer interaction. You’ll also explore the implications of implementing a digital marketing strategy.

One of Professor Chen’s prime research interests is hospitality consumer behavior, particularly customer/website interactions. She has published her research findings in numerous industry publications, including the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management and the Journal of Travel Research.
