It is with excitement and pleasure I welcome your interest in Pan Pacific Pork Expo (PPPE) 2016.With more than 500 delegates to the very successful 2014 PPPE we are expecting to break the 600 visitor mark for 2016.

The 2016 event will offer exhibitors and sponsors more exposure to producers and other industry partners with a greater number of booths on offer and keen interest from producers looking to adopt new technologies or modify existing facilities that will drive efficiencies and greater performances from their production systems. The demand for Australian Pork has never been higher and PPPE is the perfect venue for you and your company to engage directly with producers who are looking to suppliers of products and services to provide the best pathways to improving profit and long term sustainability for their enterprises.

With a 20% increase in the number of available sites in a new layout at the fantastic Gold Coast Convention Centre and a balanced program of presentations, workshops and trade fair display, this continues to be the number One Pork industry event in Australia.

Background

What is Pan Pacific Pork Expo (PPPE)?PPPE combines a pork industry trade show and exhibition with information sessions supported by Australian Pork Limited (APL) and Pork CRC Limited. This gives opportunity to Australian producers to discuss, debate and where suitable, adopt new technologies and innovations. Since beginning in 1998, PPPE has continued to grow, attracting both domestic and international participants.

Who attends?All the key decision makers involved in the Australian pork industry supply chain. These include: • Pork producers• Processors • Retail and food service industries• Researchers• Scientists• Educators• Subsidiary service providers such as insurers and financial institutions• Government officials.

Who exhibits?• General product and service providers for rural industries• Producers• Government• Subsidiary service providers• A broad spectrum of supply chain companies involved in the Australian pork industry.

Information for APL Members and Associate Producer Members The PPPE Committee has allocated a budget to help assist with the cost of travel and accommodation for APL Members to attend PPPE 2016. The financial assistance, available for APL Members only, can be used towards 1–2 night/s accommodation (depending on which state you have travelled from) and appropriate travel to and from the Gold Coast, including bus transfers from Coolangatta airport.

To receive a funding form simply tick the box on the registration form and the PPPE Secretariat will email you the relevant registration form.

PPPE SecretariatSecretariat services for PPPE are provided by APL. The technical program for the expo is developed in consultation with APL, Pork CRC Limited staff and industry representatives. PPPE is a major forum for APL and Pork CRC Limited research initiatives and outcomes.

The trade exhibition and social activities are conducted in coordination with APL and Pork CRC Limited staff, along with input from various industry representatives.

Trade Exhibition OpportunitiesAll exhibitors should be aware that the 2016 PPPE trade exhibition will be located in Exhibition Hall 1 at the GCCEC with the Plenary , Concurrent sessions and workshop being held next door in meeting rooms A, B and C. The advantage is the whole conference is on one level.

For those exhibitors wishing to also exhibit at PIX (Poulty Information Exchange), negotiations have been carried out with the PIX Committee, GCCEC and ExpoNet to allow PPPE exhibitors to have the choice of leaving their stand where it is, in Exhibition Hall 1 or storing additional equipment for either event onsite.

If you choose to change your location for the PIX event you will need to discuss this with ExpoNet and the PIX Committee. The exhibition company ExpoNet (who is the official exhibition company for PPPE and PIX) have announced they will only charge one lot of cartage and placement to the exhibitors who are involved in both events who order items from them. Additional furniture within each stand can be supplied by Exponet. Details and costs are provided at the time of booking. Sponsorship opportunities are also available to all exhibitors. There is a discount available of 20 percent on trade exhibition stands for those companies that wish to take out a sponsorship and trade exhibition package. Discounts do not apply for companies not sponsoring the event.

Exhibition Floor Plan

Terms and Conditions:1. The organiser of the exhibition is Australian Pork Limited and Pork CRC Limited.2. If the exhibitor fails to comply with any of the rules and regulations, or any requirements stipulated by the Fire Department, Health Department or State

or Commonwealth Acts, the organiser has the right to sell the space and the exhibitor will forfeit all monies paid.3. The organiser reserves the right to decline any application to participate in the sponsorship opportunities if it believes the applicant’s participation would

Cancellation Policy: In the event of a sponsorship package or exhibit being cancelled, Australian Pork Limited will refund total payment minus the 20 per cent deposit, if the cancellation is received in writing before Monday 21March 2016. Cancellations after that date will attract a fee of 30 per cent of the total fee payable on the booking (not including the 20 per cent non refundable deposit).
