PSI RUSSIA 2018: SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH OF NEW EXHIBITION PROJECT
Exhibition-festival of commercial creativity PSI Russia took place in Moscow for the first
time on September, 11-13. It was bright, impressive and productive. 143 companies-exhibitors
presented their novelties and best-sellers of promotional industry at premier project for Russia in
Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center. They shared the most innovative promo solutions
with visitors - representatives of business, buyers of advertising service and materials and
exchanged information about new trends in industry with colleagues.
Ruslan Subbota, Маkey Rus Company, General Manager: “For us exhibition is a highly
conversional channel of the customers attraction. We are more than happy: number of potential
contacts that we have got at PSI Russia exceeded our expectations by 40%!”.
Valery Balyabin, STAN Company, CEO: “The exhibition, from my point of view, was
successful in terms of high visitor traffic and good organization. Hope that conversion from the
event will be great and we will join PSI Russia next year again”.
During these three days of PSI Russia about 3 500 people visited the show – companies
management, advertising agencies, marketing managers, PR-specialists, HR-managers,
specialists of procurement, retail chain employees and many others. Visitors came not only from
Moscow and the Moscow region. Specialists from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Tadzhikistan,
Germany, Georgia, Israel, Iran, Ireland, China, Poland, and Switzerland attended the exhibition-
festival.
Exhibitors and promotional industry
Status of PSI Russia 2018 as international project was confirmed by the variety of exhibitors.
Our guests could enjoy products at booths of Russian companies and expositions of foreign
producers and suppliers from Italy, India, Belarus, Taiwan, China and Turkey.
Visitors of the exhibition – festival got acquainted with variety of promotional products: corporate
gifts, leather business accessories, notebooks and diaries, promo textile, awards, stationery
materials and writing instruments, interior design items, edible souvenirs, calendars, post cards
and many other effective advertising creative solutions.
Bright ideas and inspiring activities
Due to successful adaptation of our German colleagues’ experience, who hold PSI in
Dusseldorf, the leading European exhibition for promotional products industry every year, and
upgrade of the program with relevant events for Russian promotional products market, PSI
Russia 2018 became a really effective business event for promotional industry and bright and
impressive festival of advertising and creativity.
Tatyana Viktorova, advertising manager of КЕМ printing house: “We definitely enjoyed that
organizers did not remain static, they developed new ways to rouse the experience of our
audience accustomed to everything. For instance, we liked entrance zone. Unfortunately, this
year not all exhibitors were able to present their products there – we also did not worked out the
ways to be presented here. But now when we have seen Ideas Gallery, we will certainly prepare
our creative solutions next time”.

company – we always find our customer. Interesting decoration of the exhibition space also
impressed us: (light spacious hall, beautiful photo zones) and pleasant surprise from organizers’
team (delicious champagne and treats during the opening ceremony)”.

Three days of PSI Russia 2018 the exhibition-festival of commercial creativity were filled with
interesting activities, productive meetings and positive emotions. Besides the exhibition part
festival program included best cases and best practices presentations, workshops,
business games, open discussions and many more.
At the registration desk visitors of the exhibition could pick up comfortable bags for advertising
materials, sponsored by Proekt 111. Besides, the volunteer visitors could get into a thrilling
interactive game – special quest for visitors that was organized by the Creative Partner of the
festival – MOBILIZATOR company. The prizes for quest players were delivered by SkyEng
language school and exhibitors.
Immediately after entering the exhibition hall visitors and guests of PSI Russia found
themselves in the world of creativity and bright innovations: first meters of exhibition space were
designed as PSI Russia Ideas Gallery. Bright new concepts and innovative ideas were
presented by photo artist Igor Pankov, artist group ART Mechanicus, Chocolate Studio, Marusin
sad, Rosa-Teka, Articul FP, Décor Design, Laudo (brand Pininfarina) and Pyat speciy
companies.
Legendary runway Catwalk
Triumphant opening of PSI Russia exhibition-festival was held in atmosphere of celebration, fun
and creativity. All visitors and participants immediately experienced the beginning of three
important days of industry specific event. Instead of traditional ceremonial speeches, the
emcee introduced partners in a friendly atmosphere and announced the start of the event by
creative show on runway Catwalk.
Professional dancers demonstrated products of such firms as: STAN, BLUNT Umbrellas, Prof-
shof, Fancy Armor, Atelier of Maria Chistova, IVI, Portоbello to driving music in unusual format,
which has already won the hearts of visitors of PSI in Dusseldorf. These shows took place
during the first day.
Best of the best
Every visitor of PSI Russia had a chance to choose the most innovative and interesting
advertising souvenirs and vote for the best product of the promotional industry at PSI Russia
Awards stand.
Fifteen companies presented their most outstanding products for the jury to make a choice – the
jury was just public, professional visitors. Professional competition that was held during
exhibition-festival allowed participants to demonstrate their best ideas, and let the visitors get a
charge of positive creativity.
PSI Russia Awards contest clearly showed: promotional industry has developed a great area for
creative approach and innovations. Results of the competition were officially announced on
September, 13th – last day of the show.
The contest winners are: Fancy Armor (category «Best design»), New-Ton (category «Best
innovative solution») and Proekt 111 (category «Best creative solution»). In addition, organizers
of PSI Russia Awards delivered special prize for STAN company in category «Best creative
solution». Each winner was presented with an exclusive prize, provided by Pragmatika company
(PSI Russia Awards partner), flower bouquet from online flower shop «Rosa-Teka» and
certificates of language school SkyEng.
Business program
NARSI Association organized unique business conference endorsed by PSI Russia.
Exclusive information, discovered in thorough market surveys, project sessions and deep
interviews with customers and users of promotional products, served as a base for two original
education modules, targeted business customers of promotional products on one hand and
specialists of advertising agencies on the other.
Results of the research made by the Association and professional experience were shared with
the audience by the industry experts and top managers of leading companies of the Russian
promotional products industry market.
Moreover, the industry experts made special presentations for guests and participants of PSI
Russia concerning effective marketing tools and successful sales techniques in Catwalk zone:
that for two days has become an area for workshops, seminars and open discussions.
Exhibition visitors obtained recommendations and professional life-hacks from Anton Vert
(VertComm), Nikita Golubev (design), Anton Shaplin (music setting, Re:store Academy), Yury
Tikhonravov (philosophy, brandism, IZM.IO), Artem Loskutov (social activist, «Monstratsiya»),
Marat Khadyev (constructor, Т.А.R.G), Yana Gornostay (gamification, MOBILIZATOR), Oleg
Кazakov (ecologic food, Biomania) and many others.
PSI Russia 2018 exhibition-festival became an opportunity for visitors to train their business
skills in marketing and sales. There was special zone called PSI Russia Games organized by
event-agency OOOOO.EVENTS leading Russian game-creators, where business games were
held. Brand management, negotiations, innovative thinking, creativity, secret of successful
team, these were the topics. Game tables were not able to hold all the volunteers, willing to join.
Comfortable exhibition space allowed the PSI Russia 2018 guests not only to find out trends of
the promotional industry, but also relax and take a break to chat with partners and colleagues in
convenient and pleasant zone, originally designed by Marusin sad, the partner of the event.
Anastasia Tsvetnova, VertComm Head of marketing: “All three days of exhibition we worked
efficiently: obtained many contacts, found new suppliers, new clients. Recommend all
professionals take part in this event in the future”.
Veronika Kachevskaya, Every Case Marketing Director: “You can feel the right approach to
target audience PSI Russia. All three days our clients came to our booth – business customers
and advertising agencies, we easily got on well with and agreed for further cooperation. So we
make conclusion that all guests of the event came with specific aims and found answers to their
questions at exhibition in general and on our booth particularly”.

met on PSI Russia – our target audience. Communication here was on business only. We thank

Vyacheslav Konovalov, VLADI Group key account manager: “At PSI Russia we received
many interesting contacts, and only time will show how they will work. Our first perception –
there were more advertising agencies among visitors, that satisfies us. We have interest in
working with this category of customers and with final buyers. The most important thing for us is
the result!”.
Artur Stukalov, Lider General Director: “We take part in various exhibitions and annually
present novelties of souvenir products. Advertising and souvenir events always were the most
productive for us in terms of getting new contacts and meetings with our loyal customers. PSI is
a well-known brand in Europe and from my opinion will always be popular on promotional
products industry market. In terms of our expectations - at the moment we work with orders from
exhibition. It is hard to talk about results yet. But at the end of 4th quarter it might be possible to
evaluate the contacts obtained after all”.
