PAYMENT @ PARKING METERS REQUIRED Parking is very limited and Campus Parking Services has recommended that Exhbibitors park in B Lots (rather than C Lot) and overflow parking in West Mall Parkade.

We hope to have our directional signage along the roadway, but in case we are not able to, you may need to rely on these instructions & maps. And watch for our Red SFU Flag Banners, Signs & Ambassadors dressed in RED ‘‘Ask me’’ T-SHIRTS.

Driving Directions

From Hastings: 1. Hastings becomes Burnaby Mountain Pkwy, then University Dr

East. Continue along University Dr., keeping in the right lane. Follow signs to UniverCity.

2. At the top of the hill, you will reach a roundabout – continue straight to stay on University Drive East. Continue driving until you reach a 3-way stop.

3. At the 3-way stop: a) To go to the Venue and Unloading Zone, go straight (turns into E Campus

Road), Entrance to Arts Road is on the left, just past 2 C lot entrances b) To go to B Lot, go straight, past Arts Road, Bus Loop, Cornerstone shops c) To go to West Mall Parkade, turn right and continue along University

Drive.

From Gaglardi Way: 1. Follow signs to UniverCity and make slight right onto University

Drive. (Just before intersection of Burnaby Mtn Pkwy & Gaglardi).

2. Continue along University Dr East, keeping in the right lane. 3. Follow steps in #2 & 3 from above.

Driving to Strand Hall/AQ Unloading Zone: We recommend to Unload first in the Unloading Zone, then drive to the Parking Lot. And remember to wear comfortable shoes for your walk from Parking to the Venue!

1. Student Ambassadors: with carts will be available to assist with unloading. 2. Leave vehicle briefly: to unload and leave with an Ambassador. 3. Move vehicle promptly and drive to parking: go to Parking Lot B or West Mall Visitors Parkade.

Please delay your check-in until you return from parking to avoid vehicle congestion in the Unloading zone. We are sharing this zone with delivery trucks services the rest of the campus.

4. Park, walk to the venue: meet up with the Ambassador at the Venue near the Unloading Zone. 5. Check-in Desk: check-in at the Exhibitors Table (see map and look for signage).

If travelling by taxi to the Burnaby campus: � We recommend that you use the Driving Route map on Page 4 of this package (follow the yellow

driving route arrows) and have the driver drop you off at the Unloading Zone near the Venue Entrance. � Note: For leaving the event, we will have instructions available to instruct a Taxi where to pick you up

(ask us for the Taxi instruction sheet).

Follow these 2 flags and our signage leading from West Mall to AQ

Walking directions from West Mall Parkade to Check-in Desk: 1. Take elevator or stairs to 3rd Floor of West Mall Centre: (same level as Convocation Mall). 2. Exit elevator & travel East out of the building, towards the Library: go through sliding glass doors

and to outdoor walk-way that will lead you through Convocation Mall, past the Library. 3. Follow outdoor, covered walkway to the end. 4. Go through another set of sliding glass doors: to enter the AQ building and TURN LEFT. 5. For stairs: continue past White Spot counter into wide corridor. There will be stairs in front of you,

slightly to the left. Go up 1 level and right up next short flight of stairs. 6. For elevator: continue past White Spot counter into wide corridor. TURN RIGHT, go past the study

areas. Elevator will be at the very end on the right. Take elevator to 3rd floor (up 1 level), exit and turn right to enter the Venue.

7. Go to the furthest end of the corridor (just past Renaissance Café) 8. Check-in Table (Green booth) will be on your left: next to Renaissance Café. Please check in to be

given your booth assignment.

Walking directions from the Bus Loop: 1. Take bus to BUS LOOP BY CORNERSTONE. 2. Walk to the entrance of Blusson Hall (new, glass & wood

building), located just beyond the Parking Lot behind the bus loop.

3. Walk the length of the building until you reach the stairs and Saywell Hall Atrium.

4. Take the stairs or elevator down to the Venue in the AQ 5. Exhibitor Check-in Table located in front of ahead of you

(Green booth), before Renaissance Cafe. Check-in to be given your booth assignment.

Walking directions from B Lots: 1. Walk to the West end of the parking lot. 2. Turn right and continue up the paved road to the Cornerstone Town Square (a tiered, outdoor

plaza). 3. Take stairs or paved, winding ramp to the top of the plaza where it meets the road. 4. Walk past the Bus Loop to the entrance of Blusson Hall (new, glass & wood building), located

just beyond the Parking Lot behind the bus loop. 5. Walk the length of the building until you reach the stairs and Saywell Hall Atrium. 6. Take the stairs or elevator down to the Venue in the AQ 7. Exhibitor Check-in Table located in front of you (Green booth), before Renaissance Cafe. Check-

Enter Central City Mall Parkade: 1. Take University Drive to parkade, watch for Central City Mall parkade signs. 2. Turn left into parkade 3. Drive up the ramp: keep driving upwards; you will loop around driving to the upper levels parkade.

To UNLOAD, LEVEL P3: If you have a lot of heavy materials, we recommend you unload prior to parking your vehicle.

1. Unloading/loading zone is located on P3 uncovered area adjacent to building and venue entrance 2. Drive up to level P3 and park by building entrance: there will be Student Ambassadors wearing red

t-shirts stationed there to assist you with your unloading/loading 3. Take elevator (to the right of the entrance): take it half a level down to event venue at the

Mezzanine level. You may also opt to take a short flight of stairs.

To PARK, LEVEL P5 (parking is very limited): IMPORTANT: DO NOT park at any other level of Central City Mall except the Visitors’ level P5 (even with purchase of a parking ticket) or you will be at high risk of receiving a parking violation ticket. Please note that we will NOT reimburse any violation tickets.

1. Drive to P5: the top of the Central City Mall Parkade, an uncovered area of the parkade. 2. Park in spots labeled "PAID PARKING" ONLY 3. Remember your Plate Number to pay for parking 4. PURCHASE YOUR PARKING TICKET AT THE PARKING METER: the pay station is located by the

parkade elevator 5. Take elevator or stairs to P3 level: where the venue entrance to Surrey Campus is located 6. Go to the Check-in desk to left of entrance to receive your booth assignment

Overflow Parking: If all "PAID PARKING" spots at level P5 are occupied, please proceed to one of the nearby public parking spaces around the university. *** DO NOT park at other levels of Central City Mall Parkade.

City Hall Underground Parkade - 800 spaces - $1.50 per hour; $7.00 all day

Recreation Centre Parking - about 10 paid parking spaces available per lot
