HD Dye-Sublimated Fabric with Silicon Edge

Our state-of-the-art HD Dye-Sublimation printing capabilities can take your high-resolution images and transform them into a

full size immersive experience.

Sewn into the perimeter of our SEG fabrics is a silicon edge that fits snugly into a channel in the aluminum frames (as shown here to the right). Silicon edge graphics are an easy way to attach, remove and replace your message. Fabric is a great material for print presentations due to its non-reflective nature: the fabric absorbs light and eliminates any reflections or glare and is also wrinkle and fire resistant. Worried about getting your fabric prints dirty? These fabrics are washable like most garments. The print process and dyes used are environmentally friendly solutions without solvents or harsh odors.

Since our printing facility, seaming department, and assembly area are under the same roof, Expand is able to ensure accuracy and quality control for your order throughout the entire process.

Our LED light strip technology paired with our custom fitted graphics make a knock-out combination.

The LED lights have a color temperature of 6500K (+500K) and a life of 20,000 hours with a one year guarantee.

Infinita backlit displays can be made in any size within an 8’ x 16’ limitation. The LED’s have a 4’ reach before dissipation (meaning that one dimension, vertical or horizontal, cannot be larger than 8’ in order to avoid a dark patch in the graphic.)

Fibonacci Transforming Kit

Derived from nature, the proportions of Leonardo Fibonacci’s numbers have been used from the building of the Great Pyramids to the

design of the Parthenon, and can be found everywhere from the shapes of hurricanes to the proportions of the human finger. Here at Expand we think these numbers work beautifully in the design of modular fabric displays as well. The Fibonacci numbers are a group of numbers beginning with 0 and 1 and continuing 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13,..., each new number being the sum of the two numbers that came before. They are used in the creation of music, visual art, and architecture and the system always seems to create impressive results.

When we applied these numbers to the height and width of our frames, miraculous things started to happen! No matter how the frames are oriented next to each other, they line up perfectly to form larger rectangles. Using this approach, we have created an Expand Infinita design that transforms into different orientations with options to satisfy different venue spaces and situations. Instead of buying booth after booth, you can use the transforming framework to make different layouts while still using the original frames!

Whether you choose to use a shipping crate or portable rolling cases, each Infinta product comes packed with custom designed foam caps for the totems and foam slots for the color coded frame sections to protect them from movement during shipping.

One of the greatest perks of the Infinita System is the ability to re-use the framing and swap-out new dye-sublimated graphics for a completely new look while utilizing the existing hardware, cutting back on cost and waste. Our custom packaging in designed with that idea in mind.
