About the 2019 ConferenceThe Community Colleges Australia (CCA) Annual Conference is the premier event for Australia’s adult and community

education (ACE) providers. Our program of inspirational speakers, education and training experts, facilitated workshops and networking provides an unparalleled business opportunity for sponsors to reach Australia’s dynamic ACE providers

through an interactive exhibition and dynamic social events.

Our ThemeThe 2019 conference theme EXPANDING POSSIBILITIES will focus on how Australia’s

not-for-profit community education providers are expanding the way they serve their communities, in education, training and community services.

Community Colleges AustraliaCommunity Colleges Australia (www.cca.edu.au) is the national peak body that represents and provides services to community-owned, not-for-profit education and training providers.

Our vision is for Australia to achieve more dynamic and vibrant communities, informed and empowered through learning.

Our sector delivers accredited, vocational education and training (VET) to more than 380,000 learners each year, from pre-vocational through to advanced diploma courses, delivering to more than 9% of Australian total VET students. As well as VET programs, CCA members offer non-accredited training, lifestyle, lifelong and cultural learning courses – education for which they are historically well-known and which supports the vitality of the communities they serve.

Many of our members operate independent high schools and others are involved in community development and other social services. Some of our members have been providing education to their communities for more than 100 years.

Sponsorship OpportunitiesThe CCA Annual Conference provides the only opportunity for your company or organisation to connect personally with Australia’s not-for-profit community education providers and lift your profile with our sector. In previous years, all exhibition opportunities were subscribed many weeks in advance.

Our sponsorsOur sponsors form a vital part of our conference, and are welcomed by attendees as colleagues and partners. The smaller, more intimate setting of the CCA conference invites more in-depth discussions and deeper relationships between delegate and sponsor. In fact, many of our returning sponsors are greeted as old friends.

As a sponsor, you will receive acknowledgement prior to, during and after the conference through conference materials, the conference app, CCA’s website and emails.

You will enjoy significant and extended contact with delegates during the conference and social events – at every morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea-time.

Attendance at the welcome drinks and gala dinner is encouraged, where you can mingle with delegates in a more relaxed setting.

Our sponsorship levelsCCA is pleased to offer sponsorship at three levels: Gold, Silver and Bronze, with special one-off opportunities for supporting the Conference Opening/Welcome Drinks, and the 2019 Community Education Student of the Year Awards.

We can also specifically tailor sponsorship packages to suit your needs. Please contact CCA if you have any questions about tailored sponsorship (contact details are on the application form at the end of this brochure).

Our Venues

Conference and Awards DinnerThe Stamford Plaza Brisbane is a premier Brisbane event venue, close to the Botanic Gardens and directly overlooking Brisbane River, featuring more than 200 modern rooms (all with spectacular views of the river), restaurants and bar, swimming pool, gymnasium and sauna.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Brisbane City, close to parking and public transport facilities.

All sponsors will be eligible to receive the conference attendee discount of 10% off the best available rate when booking accommodation at the Stamford. Further details will be sent on successful application for sponsorship.

Welcome DrinksBuilt in the early 1860s by the first governor of the newly formed Queensland colony, Old Government House was used as the seat of Government until 1910, before becoming part of the University of Queensland’s first campus. As an unsuitable venue for teaching, It fell into disrepair until recognised in 1960 as a vital part of Queensland’s heritage. After major renovations by the National Trust and the University, the house reopened in 2009, and is now one of Brisbane’s best-preserved historic landmarks.

Old Government House also houses art works of the renowned Australian artist William Robinson, and our Welcome Drinks attendees will have exclusive access to the exhibition.
