Ecological Cities as Economic Cities (Eco2 Cities)-Best Practices in Urban Development and Management-
Yokohama was nominated by the World Bank as one of the first six Eco2 Cities, which display the best global practices for balance of ecological sustainable development and economic urban growth.g
Yokohama is highly evaluated for its various practices aiming to develop cities in harmony withpractices aiming to develop cities in harmony with the environment and the economy, such as for waste management (G30).
