Tesla Innovation Center created by Tesla Innova-tions Pvt. Ltd, SINE, IIT Bombay is a place of Learning, Discovery, Innovation and Excellence with a mission to provide training and technical assistance to individuals to become e�ective advocates for the environment with main focus on enhancing employability and professional skills. The interaction include sessions on 30+ technologies of water and waste water treatment, solid waste management and air pollution control. Detox-250™, Electrocoagulation, Photo Catalytic Reactor, Pressurized Bioreactors, UF/NF, Reverse Osmosis, Bio-methanation, Electrostatic Precipitator etc to name a few, along with hands-on experience on these working pilots.

Why this training? We feel that the academic knowledge alone received by Civil/Chemical/Environmental/Bio-technology Graduates & Post-graduates is ill equipped to make them employable in this domain which is very dynamic & interdisciplinary. Hence, TIC stepped in to bridge this gap & came up with a training program which while upskilling the candi-dates, also allows them to innovate & develop newer processes during their course of training.

About TIC

About the PROGRAM

Tesla Innovation Center’s Professional Training Programs are an immersion in the environmental engineering sector for students and professionals alike. The programs cover topics in the field of water, wastewater, air quality engineering, solid waste.

Tesla’s one-of-a-kind program is conducted amidst one of Mum-bai’s prominent industrial hubs and allows its trainees to get hands-on experience of cutting-edge treatment technologies already implemented on the field. The trainees also have the opportunity to learn from the industry experts about the challeng-es faced by the industry. The course thus covers about 20 years of combined industry experience for students to learn in 3-6 months.

As graduates of the program, students are more informed about the industry and get jobs in various sectors in environmental engi-neering. Graduates can work as environmental design engineers, to commissioning and execution engineering, to working in environmental externalities that include Environment Impact Assessment. All-in-all, each course graduate walks away with a deeper understanding of the ever-growing environmental sector, giving them an edge over any other recent college graduate or young professional.

The CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI) is a research institute created and funded by Government of India. It was established in Nagpur in 1958 with focus on water supply, sewage dispos-al, communicable diseases and to some extent on industrial pollution and occupational diseases found common in post-independent India. NEERI is a pioneer laboratory in the field of environmental science and engineering and part of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). NEERI has five zonal laboratories at Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai. NEERI falls under the Ministry of Science and Technology (India) of central government The NEERI is an important partner organisation in India’s POPs national implementation plan (NIP).

The Institute has established a Center for Skill Devel-opment where certificate courses will be conducted in the domains of environmental impact assessment, carrying capacity, and water quality monitoring & assessment. ACCOMMODATION,BOARDING & TRAVELLING

1. Company guest houses on twin sharing basis can be provided for outstation candidates.

2. Food (Breakfast & Dinner) will be provided to the candidates opting for accommodation.

3. Lunch will be provided during training.

4. A bed, cupboard & washing machine is provided with the accommodation on sharing basis.

5. Company guest houses are Wi-Fi enabled.

6. A caretaker for regular maintenance is provided along with the accommodation.

7. Travelling from the company guest house to training facility and back is facilitated by a bus plying on a fixed daily

route.

8. All-inclusive the Fees for Accommodation, Boarding & Travelling is Rs 12600/- Per month

For Gents:

Note: Currently we have a capacity of 14 Gents and the seats will be allotted on first come firstserve basis.

1. Company has tied up with an external PG service provider near to the training center.

2. All basic amenities such as single bed (mattress & pillows), single cupboard, dining table, chairs, Wi-Fi, caretaker,

breakfast & dinner are provided by the PG service provider.

3. Travelling from the PG to training facility and back is facilitated by a bus plying on a fixed daily route.
