WHAT IS CIGARETTES ?

• A cigarette is a small roll of finely cut tobacco leaves wrapped in a cylinder of thin paper for smoking. The cigarette is ignited at one end and allowed to smoulder; its smoke is inhaled from the other end.

The main composition of cigarettes• 1. nicotine

Nicotine is one of the main elements in the tobacco.Nikotin has a function to stimulate the chemicals in the brain causing addiction to nicotine stimulates the production of the adrenal glands become more active so that it can increase heart rate and blood pressure.

2. Carbon monoxide (co)

carbon monoxide is a gas which is derived from incomplete combustion, which is toxic to the body when inhaled. Gas amount in the blood substitute and oxygen bonding in erythrosit hemoglobin (red blood cells) so that the blood will be starved of oxygen. If this lasts for a long time and in large quantities can lead to fainting, if it persists may lead to death.

3. tar

tar is a chemical that has properties karnisogen. Tar can also dismiss the function of the pad epithelial cells on the lining of the inner body and trachea so that the cells which should serve as a filter and expenditures For hazardous substances that the body can not work. Therefore, smokers are susceptible to respiratory infections. Other negative consequences that cause teeth, fingers, and my smokers become blackish yellow.

How Smoking Affects Your Health• Over the long term, smoking leads people to

develop health problems like heart disease, stroke, emphysema (breakdown of lung tissue), and many types of cancer — including lung, throat, stomach, and bladder cancer. People who smoke also have an increased risk of infections like bronchitis and pneumonia.

• These diseases limit a person's ability to be normally active, and adverse. In the United States, smoking is responsible for about 1 out of 5 deaths.

• The reasons for smoking cigarettes are explored in depth by world’s scientists and doctors. There are three reasons why most people start (and continue) to smoke cigarettes including: A. Social reasonsB. Psychological reasonsC. Physiological reasons

•Social Reasons of Smoking The main problem is that young people underestimate the addictive power of nicotine.•Psychological reasons of smoking

• Happy OR sad• Exited OR relaxed or bored • Nervous OR calm• Tired or too energetic• Frustrated OR normal • A smoker smokes at various point of time like when eating dessert, after eating or during drinking alcohol.

•Physiological reasons of smoking

Tobacco contains many toxin chemical substances including nicotine. Nicotine is a highly addictive drug which enters the smoker’s bloodstream through his lungs when the smoker inhales smoke. It is a stimulant that increases the activity in the brain just like coffee. Nicotine works differently for different parts of the brain. When body gets used to nicotine, then it needs certain level in order to function normally otherwise one would feel snappy and edgy.
