Describe the Y in one word? Family - I enjoy spending time at both the Ridley and Lansdowne YMCAs - both places are just like family.

What is your favorite activity to do at the Y?Whatever I am doing at the Y is my favorite. I take lots of classes and love all of them. I enjoy my classes taught by Tina, Fran , Elaine, and Arlene.

If I wrote a book I would call it “How the Y Saved My Life.” The Y has transformed me. The staff are supportive and I have learned to be persistent and patient on my health journey. Since my wife passed of cancer the staff at the Y have been there for me. They’ve helped me keep moving - it’s been a positive life change. Like I said - the Y is FAMILY and a big part of my life.
