What do the Children Think?

I have a friend in China! Not many other children my age can say that.

I loved learning about Qi Baishi. His

paintings are nice colours, I enjoyed

having a go at them.

It is really different in China. My

penpal has to do 3 hours of

homework a night!

I liked to see the work that they had done in New Putuo on David Hockney. They are all really

good at art!

It is really important to know about other places in the world. One day I hope I will be able to visit Shanghai.

What do the Teachers Think? It is great that the children have an awareness of other countries and our place in the wider world.

I think the project has really revitalised the whole curriculum and every class has wanted to be involved
