Do Now • What is the Land Like Around the School? • In your Composition book draw a small square
to represent the school. Choose a word to describe the land near the school, such as flat, hilly or rolling and write it next to the square.
• Make four squares surround the school to represent north (towards Slauson), south (Manchester) , east (Florence) and west (LaCienga).
