Model 121X

Federal Signal’s Model 121X rotating light flashes 90 times perminute and produces a 360° visual signal. This explosion-prooflight has an incandescent lamp and is available in five lens colors– amber, blue, clear, green and red.

The Model 121X is UL Listed for Class I, Division 1, Groups C &D; Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F & G; Class I, Division 2,Groups A, B; and Class III. The 121X is CSA Certified, MarineRated and contructed to Type 4X, IP66 standards.

This corrosion-resistant unit’s copper-free aluminum housing isfinished with a powder epoxy. All exposed hardware is construct-ed of 316 grade stainless steel.

The 121X uses a synchronous motor to drive a parabolic reflectoraround an incandescent lamp. This results in a 360° rotatingbeam which is concentrated in a horizontal plane.

The 121X features a spring-clip mounted lens for quick accesswhen inspecting or relamping. A pendant mount is supplied and aceiling mount and 90° wall mount are available options.Installation is simple; with the mounting box in place, the fixtureis threaded onto the mounting box, making the electrical connec-tion. Electrical continuity is made when five threads are engaged.

Federal Signal’s rugged 121X Warning Light is designed for explo-sion-proof applications and/or corrosive environments. It is idealfor use in indoor and outdoor areas such as oil rigs, mines,refineries, and chemical plants.

Model 27XST

Federal Signal’s Model 27XST explosion-proof strobe light pro-duces 80 high-intensity flashes per minute. This warning lightoperates on 24VDC, 120VAC, and 240VAC 50/60Hz.

The 27XST is UL Listed for Class I, Division 1, Groups C & D;Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F & G; Class I, Division 2, GroupsA, B; and Class III. The 27XST is CSA Certified and Marine Rated.

The 24VDC 27XST features a voltage in-rush limiting PCB designthat provides greater compatability with factory automationcontrol systems and less electrical interference with in-rushsensitive devices.

The 27XST is Type 4X rated; constructed to IP66. Corrosionresistance is achieved with a powder epoxy finish applied over thecopper-free aluminum housing. All exposed hardware is 316grade stainless steel.

Federal Signal’s Model 27XST has an effective candlepower (ECP)of 850 and a two million peak candlepower. A pendant mount issupplied and a ceiling mount and 90° wall mount are availableoptions. Federal Signal’s FB2PSTX explosion-proof strobe light is a com-pact unit that produces a “lightning bolt” flash of light. Measuring13.69" (348mm) high and 7.44" (189mm) in diameter, theFB2PSTX is available in 12-24VDC, 24VDC, 120VAC and 230-240VAC. These strobe lights are well suited for a wide range ofexplosion-proof warning light applications.

All models are UL and cUL Listed for indoor/outdoor and marineuse. This model is UL Listed for Class I, Division 1, Groups C andD; Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D; Class II, Division 1,Groups E, F and G; Class II, Division 2, Groups F and G;and Class III.
