2. Special Conditions for Safe Use

(Attachmentll)

The suffix ·x· placed after the certificate number indicates that this product is subject to special conditions for safe use, that is: 2.1 The terminal for the equipotential bonding conductor of the pressure transducer shall be electrically connected to the equipotential bonding system of the hazardous area (as intrinsically safe product). 2.2 For information on the dimensions of the flameproof joints contact the manufacturer (as flameproof product). 2.3 Plug facilities or plug connectors for the connection of external circuits are not permitted for the product with type of protection "nA". 2.4 The explosion protection of the pressure transducer particularly depends on the tightness of the diaphragm when the equipment is connected to intrinsically safe circuits of "Ex ib" and simultaneously mounted and operated in the partition between areas where equipment of zone O or zone 1 is required. For these operating conditions the pressure transducer shall only be used for such flammable media, the diaphragm is sufficiently resistant to, with respect to chemical influences and corrosion. For this application the pressure transducer shall be included in the recurring pressure test of the tank or piping respectively.

3. Conditions for Safe Use 3.1 The external earth connection facility shall be connected reliably. 3.2 The relationship between temperature class and ambient temperature is shown as following:

Ambient temperature - 4o·c- + 5o·c - 4o·c- + 7o·c -40°c - + as·c

3.3 Requirements of the intrinsically safe product:

3.3.1 This product should be used In explosive gas atmospheres together with approved associated apparatus, follow the instruction manual of this product and associated apparatus when connecting the wiring. Connect the wiring terminals correctly.

3.3.2 When = 3, the safety parameters are shown as following:

3.3.5 When I= 5, the safety parameters of the simulation-interface X103 are shown as following (pins 11, 12, 15, 16): Ui = 6V Pi= 1.2W Ri = 750n Uo = 5.5V lo= 12mA note: pins 15 and 16 shall be bridged during operation.

3.3.6 Connecting cable between this product and associated apparatus should be insulated screen cable; connect the cable screen functionally to earth ground. 3.4 Requirements of the flameproof product or product used in dust atmosphere: 3.4.1 The electrical data of this product is shown as below:

I= 3: 10.5-45 (VDC); I= 4 or 5: 9-32 (VDC). 3.4.2 For the flameproof product, suitable certified cable glands or blanking plugs for unused holes approved by ExTL according to GB3836.1-2010 and GB3836.2-2010 with Ex marking "Ex d II C Gb" shall be used and correctly installed; after installation, degree of protection of enclosure is at least IP66/IP68. 3.4.3 Any maintenance shall be performed only when the warning of "Do not open while the circuit is alive" is observed. 3.4.4 Clean the surface of this product termly when using in combustible dust atmosphere. 3.5 The user shall not change the configuration in order to maintain/ensure the explosion protection performance of this product. Any change may impair safety. 3.6 For installation, use and maintenance of this product, the end user should observe the instruction manual and the following standards:

GB50257-1996 "Code for construction and acceptance of electric device for explosion atmospheres and fire hazard electrical equipment installation engineering·. GB3836.13-2013 "Explosive atmospheres- Part 13:Equipment repair, overhaul and reclamation•.
