EXPO Milan 2015 will take place in Milan (Italy) since May to October 2015. It will be the most important event of all times about food and feeding, with more than 20,000,000 visitors during a 6 months exposition.

The KIP International School with its big experience in supporting local development, has a 1500 mq exhibition pavillion built with eco-friendly materials and techniques, The pavillion’s title is “Attractive Territories for a Sustainable World” .

The title means that in order to feed our planet, Governments, the private sector and associations should invest, above all, in local development, giving value to the territory where people live and work together so that they could produce the healthy and right food

they require.

Territories should be attractive so that people will choose to live there because of the dynamism of the economy, the quality of services, the beauty of the natural environment, the richness of culture and history.

The Pavilion will be conceived as four simple buildings, inspired by antique rural villages. It will be a meeting point for innovative experiences that intend to know and connect one to the other.

The territories are the real protagonists of the Pavilion KIP; and in this framework, LEDAs can play a big role as support structures for local development, thanks to their experiences, good practices and thanks to the many things they can teach and also learn and sharing each other.

LS LEDA - which is part of KIP International School and will have its space in the Pavillion- will organize events and initiatives to promote the LEDAs and their best practices in local economic development.

In this framework, the most important event will be the FIRST CONFERENCE OF LEDAs MEMBERS of ILS LEDA NETWORK, and a special event where KIP will launch the idea of a Global Fund for Regional Development.

Participating to the conference and to other linked initiatives linked will be a unique and unmisseble occasion for LEDAs to present their activities and best practices, to make known the good of their territories and the country, and have a huge visibility at global level!
