This project has several objectives but one main goal, to rise environmental consciousness making a plants Expo.

Materie: Cross-curricolare, Scienze Naturali, Sostegno Scolastico

Età degli studenti: 9 - 15

Strumenti da usare: Altri software (PowerPoint, video, foto e disegni), Diario del progetto, email, TwinSpace

Obiettivi:1) To teach how to take resposibilities through growing up plants. 2) To teach how to dry plants and keep them. 3) To teach how herbariums work. 4) To share the new designed logo and make their own plants changes.

Procedura di lavoro:1) We will make a team with students that like plants very much. (1 week) 2) We will design a new EXPO logo and to introduce EXPO concept. (Each country will design their own logoes and related team will grow a local plant up. (2 -3 month) 3) Herbarium studies will be described and showed. Then a botanic garden or herbarium trip will be made. Plant drying techniques will be taught and then they will dry plants. (1 month) 4) Designed logoes with dryed and described plants will be shared by postcard form or online (Plants will be shared with latin names or known.) 5) The steps which the students grow the plants up will be saved as videos/pictures. The videos/pictures will be shared with other partners. (April –May) 6) At the end of our activities ın June ,the postcards will be displayed in the EXPO NATURA 2016.

Risultati attesi:1) The students will understand why plants are so important. 2) The students will adquire the ability to collect plants, to keep them, to analyse and to share them. 3) The students will design new objects using their own creativity.
