A boy excitedly points out to his mum that he want chips andchicken as the trio enter

Kelechi separates his and his future wife's order from Nonso'smeal and they begin to feed each other and drink from the samebottle while Julian and Nonso keep on exchanging secret glances.

JULIAN

JULIAN

No, I am sorry; I thought I would beback before you returned.

JULIAN

They (including Nonso) are seated around the table having dinner.

MRS. OKONKWO

I had a little chat with Julian; I'llbe sending a maid over to help heraround the house, so she has no moreaccidents.

She picks up her half empty plates and starts to stand up

JULIAN

This is bullshit.

He stands up from the dining table with his plates ignoring thedumbstruck look on his mother's face and the annoyed stare thatNonso is giving him and walks over to Julian's side of the tableand picks up her plates too.

KELECHI (CONT'D)

I'll take care of the dishes. Go andsleep.

JULIAN

She holds his hand to stop him, he shoots her an annoyed lookand she lets his hand go out of shock.

KELECHI

(To his mother)

INT. JULIAN AND NONSO AND ROOM - NIGHT

Julian lays on the bed faced up staring intently at the ceiling

Kelechi and Mrs. OKONKWO are about to leave. Nonso holds Julianclose to him by her waist as they escort his mother and brotherto the door.

Mr. Okonkwo seated with his usual calm composure as if he werein a business meeting and the two detectives look like they arethe ones being interviewed.

DETECTIVE IFE

DETECTIVE TUNDE

She cuts the phone and holds it in her left hand with her award.

Mrs. Okonkwo abruptly stops walking and turns around to facehim

She takes off his tie and places it on a chair head next to himthen sits on the chair.

She takes the cover off the plate on the table and begins toshare their food.

JULIAN

The plates on the table are empty

Julian is clearing the table when she accidentally poured wateron Nonso and he slaps her before she can apologize. The platesin her hand falls to the ground.

He stands up, hugs her and strokes her hair.

The detectives walkout of the interogation room.

INT. THE OKONKWO'S HOME - DAY

Kelechi is peeling oranges and watching TV when the door bellrings; he drops the orange and knife on the table and answerthe door.

Nonso walks in

KELECHI

I came to say happy birthday to mylittle brother.

KELECHI

KELECHI

Picks up his phone

NONSO

KELECHI(Ignoring Nonso)

KELECHI(Still Ignoring)

KELECHI(He is on a role)

Nonso drags the phone from his hand

KELECHI

Nonso hit him on his face he hits Nonso back

He hits Kelechi again, Kelechi hits him back, bends him forward,knees his jaw. He grabs Kelechi by the leg and makes him falland start to hit him continuously on the face, Kelechi spitsblood on him turns him over and continues hitting him.

The knife Kelechi was cutting oranges with

Nonso pushes him off and grabs the knife.

NONSO (CONT'D)

I'm going to kill you

He launches at Kelechi.

Kelechi stands up just in time to take the hit on the side ofhis stomach away from any vital organ.

KELECHI

Fuck!

He pushes Nonso away and runs up the stairs, Nonso runs afterhim grabs his leg, he falls cracking a bone in his arm, Nonsostabs his thigh.

KELECHI (CONT'D)You seriously want to kill me!

Nonso turns him over sits and raises the knife to stab him

KELECHI (CONT'D)

Please don't!

Nonso holds himself back from stabbing Kelechi, looks at theknife in his hand, stand up from Kelechi

NONSO (PANICKING)

I'm sorry, I don't know what came overme, Oh no!

Kelechi tries to stand up, he helps him up

KELECHI

Go to hell!

He pushes Nonso down the stairs and he dies, he falls back tothe floor worn out.

The door opens and Julian walks in, she sights blood, drops thewrapped box in her hand and follows the blood trail to Nonso'sbody and suppresses a gag then she looks up to see Kelechi lyingat the top of the stairs.

JULIAN

Kellie!

She runs up to meet him

JULIAN (CONT'D)What happened?

Kelechi warily opens his eyes.

KELECHIJulie

She raises his head and places it on her lap.

KELECHI (CONT'D)I killed him

JULIAN

He had it coming

KELECHI

He stopped hitting me but I stillpushed him.

JULIAN

It is not your fault.

KELECHI

I don't want to go to jail.

JULIAN

You won't.

She pecks him on his fore head

KELECHI

I am cold.

She notices that he lying in a pool of his own blood.

She carries him into his room and places him on his bed, tearshis bed sheet and ties up his wound.

KELECHI (CONT'D)

Just let me died.

JULIAN(Slaps him)Don't talk like that, you are not goingto die.

KELECHI

Julie...

He slowly closes his eyes

JULIAN

Stay with me, Okay, Listen to me, Iwill call your parents and tell themwhat happened.

KELECHI

JULIANJust listen. Okay, then I'll call theambulance, then the police, then thegate man. And this is the story we willtell the police.
