WE’RE SO EXCITED ABOUT OURNEW FACILITY we could not help telling everyone our “under-construction” story! Our pourers wore hard hats and tool belts, and we filled the bucket of a front load tractor with ice and frosty cold bottles of Almond Champagne! (Too bad we neverhave any fun around here, huh?)

VINEYARD UPDATE

It could be an EXTRAORDINARY harvest thisyear! Our vineyard manager,Cheo Serrano, says that the weather conditions early inthe growing seasonon top of the freezewe had during thewinter combined to make perfect growing conditions. (OK, for those of you who live in theeast, it might not have seemed like such a deep freeze butit was bellowing freezing for like two or three days in arow!) Cheo says it could be the harvest of the millennium!

Right now the vines are exploding with fruit and ripeningeach and every day! We’re planning to start harvesting thewhite wine grapes in just a few weeks starting withChardonnay (used to make our Almond Champagne),Riesling, Muscat Canelli and Viognier followed by thereds, like our award-winning Estate Cabernet Sauvignon! It sounds like we should all be clearing out our wine racksto make room for more bottles of exceptional wine!
