Established menswear stylist Thom Murphy and womenswear designer Ebru Ercon have joined fashion forces to become New Power Studio a unisex clothing brand with a penchant for grey marl. Their first collection debuted at London Fashion Week this spring with an installation enti-tled White Mice the accompanying video is shown below. The collection focuses on casual relaxed clothing with a heavy 90s accent, tones of marl grey, beige and blue reflect a muted colour pal-ette with focus on graphic cut out shapes. Advanced consideration shows in the manipulation of classic staples such as track bottoms, long sleeve polos and shirting. The style aesthetic is par-ticularly confident for such a young label, perhaps reflective of the industry expertise the design duo bring to the bar. text by: martina randles
