Please go to admin panel -> System ->Configuration -> Extended Product Grid

with Editor to manage the extensionsettings. At this page you can specify whatinformation can be edited on the productgrid (e.g. allow to edit product name,price quantity right on the product grid),

choose editing mode, etc.

If you choose Yes you will beable to sort attribute columnson the product grid.

2. Choose editing mode

You can choose editing mode. WhenSingle Cell mode is selected,

modifications are automatically savedone by one. With Multi Cell enabled,

you can save multiple edits in one go.

3. Attribute columns settings

This setting allows to adddifferent attribute columns to thegrid for different admin users. Itis very convenient if you haveseveral product admins each ofthem can add the column whichare necessary for him or her.

When this option is set to Yes,you can edit product attributesright on the product grid.

You can also enable displayof product thumbnail, cost,special price and its

from/to dates.


You can enable editing of stockavailability on the product grid.

It is possible to show

product categories on thegrid and enable categoryfilter. Please be aware thatenabled category filterincreases server load.


5. Category filter and removal of columns

You can also remove some

columns from the product grid:Type (code type), Attribute SetName (code set_name), Status(code status) and Websites (codewebsites).

6. Quantity based availability

When Quantity Based Availabilityoption is set to Yes, availability

will automatically change to 'Instock' when quantity is positive andto 'Out of stock when quantity iszero or negative. Please set to No if

you prefer to indicate availabilitystatus manually.

7. Product thumbnails on category product grid

You can show product thumbnails oncategory product grid in admin panelif you set this option to Yes.

At the moment single cell editing isenabled. To edit some information(e.g. price) just click on the field

you would like to edit. After youveentered the necessary info, please

click any spot outside the field forthe data to get saved.

Now multiple cell editing isenabled. To edit some information(e.g. quantity) just click on thefields you would like to edit.

After youve entered the necessary info,please click Save button and all themodified data will be saved. Multiplecell editing is more convenient when youedit larger volumes of information.

9. Products Creation Date

Now you have an opportunity to trackproducts creation date. Sorting andfiltering for this option is also available

Choose attributes which you wouldlike to add to the product grid andclick Save Columns button. All text,dropdown and yes/no attributes can

be added to the grid.

Ive added Manufacturer andPrice View attributes to the grid.Now it is possible to filter and sortproducts by these attributes. Also

you can edit the attributes right onthe product grid (if set accordinglyat the configuration page).
