    For New site External alarm we through BS8800 SA card report to EMS/OMC.all external alarm sensor

    should be connect to SA card through DDF terminal.before connect sensor,please make loop back test

    from DDF to OMC,make sure 8channel no any cross.it very important for test external alarm.

    Below description detail how to setting external alarm in ZXDU68 B201 system.

    About the relay alarm of the ZXDU68B201 power supply system

    The boards of the zxdu68 B201system is integrated in the signal transfer box. Figure as below:

    1.   Network interface board(IP/SNMP);

    2.  Modem power board(MPB);

    3.  Signal interface board(SIB)

    And the signal interface board provides external communication interfaces and monitoring

    unit signal interfaces. The signal board is shown in figure as below. Refer to table for the

    signal board interfaces description.

    The relays alarm function has two options on the signal board, one relay output-NO(normal open)

    and one relay output-NC(normal close). So need to know the BTS interface alarm definition

    which it is NO or NC.

    If it is ‘ NO’, and connect relay alarm cables step:

    1、 One group relay out need two signal cables , and one terminal connect with relay out  – ON and

    relay output  – common end on the signal board interface, another terminal connect with the

    BTS interface.

    2、 Other relays alarm as above the connection step, until it finished.

    After finished to connect the signal cables , and set parameters in the monitor.

    Step:

    1、check the monitor screen, find the CTRL menu.

    2、 press the button ENTER of the monitor.

    3、 Entering the password: 0000.

    4、 Enter the setup parameter system: 1. Setup Para, press the Enter button.

    5、 Find the Alarm Para in the Setup Para.

    6、 Enter the Alarm Para menu, find the 1.Set Relay to Enter

    7、 And find the relays alarm parameter. According to the relays alarm requirements, set the relay

    Setup procedures: 

    If the relay alarm connected the X15(1,2) of the signal board, it mean what it is SMR Alarm.

    So the relay alarm parameter set A2.

    Refer to above the Table-1.
