Thepatientmustbeinstructedtofollowapost-surgicalregimenincludingcoldpacksfor24hourspost-implantation.Thepatient’sdietshouldconsistofsoftfoodsandpossiblyliquiddietarysupplements.Pharmacologicaltherapyshouldbeconsideredasthepatient’sconditiondictates.
