Where is Extraterrestrial life

Planetary habitability in the Solar System

Solar SystemOrder by the distance from the Sun: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

Inner planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars

Outer planets: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune

MarsMars is probably the most similar planet to the Earth. Its surface, peppered with vast volcanoes, such as Olympus Mons, and rift valleys, such as Valles Marineris. Some people think human can turn Mars into a second Earth in around 800 years!

EarthEarth is the largest and densest of the inner planets.  Earth is the densest planet in the Solar System,  and the only celestial body known to accommodate life.

JupiterIn addition to hydrogen and helium, Jupiter also has methane, water vapor, ammonia, carbon, neon, oxygen and sulfur. Jupiter actually radiates as much energy as it receives from the Sun. This is one of the most surprising Jupiter facts.

Fun Facts: Jupiter has over 1,000 times the volume of Earth. Jupiter could eat the Earth for dinner if it got hungry!

Saturn Saturn Is a big ball of gas and liquid. It has several similarities to Jupiter, such as its atmospheric composition and magnetosphere. Saturn has over 100 moons and moonlets.

NeptuneNeptune is the planet located farthest from the Sun in our solar system. Neptune was predicted not by what it looked like, but by how it affected Uranus.
