Technology – instructional software, distance learning, exploration on the world wide web, etc.
Discovery or investigative learning – research, interviews, field trips, etc.
Examples:
Modeling

Working through a math problem with students.
Showing what a paper crane looks like before having students fold their own
Check for Understanding
See if students “got it”.If not, re-input and re- model.
Questioning: Aim for higher levels on the Bloom’s taxonomy (revised by Krathwahl)Ex. Ask more than if the students just remember what was said.

Let’s do an extreme makeover! Working with your campus teams,
identify which part of the lesson plan the examples fit into.
Sort and glue them to the part of the daily lesson plan in which you think they best fit.
Discuss with team members and be prepared to share with the class.
“Bus driver, share that plan!”
