Eyesite MD David Samuel (below left) gave it his best shot at the ISPS Handa Ladies European Masters at Buckinghamshire Golf Club in July when he partnered professional golfer Lee-Ann Pace (below right) in the Pro-Am tournament. The event, which is sponsored by Bollé, raised funds for ISPS Handa, the international charity in aid of golf for blind and disabled people.
David’s handicap was assisted by his specially made high performance prescription Bollé sports sunglasses, which are designed specifi cally for playing golf. Well done to Lee-Ann who went on to fi nish third in the overall event.
Bollé sunglasses come in a wide range of styles and colour combinations and are available with or without prescription lenses.

In January 2014 Eyesite Reading practice manager Ross Trafford said goodbye to being short-sighted for good when he had Intralase LASIK Wavefront treatment at Harley Street eye clinic Advanced Vision Care.
Eyesite has been working in partnership with AVC for 10 years and we have recommended many patients to the clinic for life-changing vision correction treatment.
“I’ve worked with AVC for many years and so I had absolute confi dence that I was putting my eyes in the very best care. After just 48 hours my vision was crystal clear and now both eyes are even better than 20/20. Amazing!” said Ross.
We hold laser open evenings at our practices to give you an opportunity to meet the AVC team and Eyesite’s own laser specialist optometrists and ask any questions you may have. Ask in your branch for the next date and we will register your interest and call you nearer the time to confi rm if you would like to come along.

Colours always look more brilliant in hot sunny weather but they can become dulled and distorted with ordinary tinted spectacle or sunglass lenses. With new prescription Crizal Transition ‘Graphite Green’ lenses however, you can enjoy the truest colour possible and superb clarity of vision whilst ensuring ultimate protection for your eyes from UV light and glare.
Breakthrough technology used for these lenses means they are more responsive in more lighting conditions across all temperatures.
So whatever the season, Crizal Transition lenses from Eyesite will guarantee you the clearest, brightest, safest vision possible.

‘Brilliant!’ and ‘amazing!’ is what patients are saying about these treatments, so why not give them a try at your Eyesite practice and you could be saying goodbye to dry eyes forever.
Salvation for dry eye sufferers is now at all Eyesite practices in the form of two revolutionary new eye drop treatments from ophthalmic pharmaceutical specialist Spectrum Thea.
Hyabak and Thealoz are two new treatments that provide long-lasting relief from dry eye discomfort by greatly improving cell water management to create ‘tears’ and retain viscosity. Thealoz is also suitable for rigid gas permeable contact lens wearers and both are light, non-greasy and economical to use.
As natural as tears – new treatment for dry eyes
Can contact lenses get any more comfortable? Yes, they can! The new Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal Contact Lenses available at Eyesite have a unique blink-activated technology that provides outstanding comfort all day long.
A multifocal lens allows you to see at all distances so you don’t have to change between distance and reading spectacles or put reading glasses on top of your distance contact lenses.
And being dailies, they require no cleaning or disinfecting. Almost as good as having a new pair of eyes!

lenses ever
