How does GrainXchange work?

• The grower can list warehoused grain for cash contracts

• The grower can list grain stored on farm for cash contracts

• The grower can list grain for forward cash contracts

• There are also cash deferred options you can select

– NPE (“No Price Established”) comparative to a cash pooling product

– CD (“Cash Deferred”) price established negotiated payment

• A target price can be nominated but is not compulsory

• Growers can check the highest daily buyer prices on GrainXchange and

contact us if they wish to sell.

GrainXchange is a service that protects and preserves identity and confidentiality

• Registration is only $250.00 inc annually

– On registration you will receive a password and login number

• Growers can also receive best daily bid via SMS for an extra $33.00inc

annually, just select the best prices update when you register.– This option can be turned on and off as you wish

– You only need to select this option if you wish to receive prices on your Mobile

• No Commission is paid on tonnages sold

GrainXchange - What is the Process:

• Collection of grower’s product for sale through data entries.

• Buyers view the collection and bid through contacting EPIC

• It is your choice to accept or not accept the bid

• If you accept, a trade match is provided by EPIC to the buyer, this contains

information relative to both parties.

• Also growers can monitor buyers bids and contact EPIC to seek a trade

match to the buyer

• The buyer will be contacted to establish if the listed bid is still open

• If the buyer is still seeking tonnes at that price then a trade match will take

place.

On Farm storage:

Information will be available on the website regarding:

• Treatment of grain and quality recording of treatment used and dates

• Correct procedure for sample taking

• KPI recording – working with transport logistics

• On Farm storage inspections prior to out loading are under consideration
