Equipment & Service Elbit Systems of America / Cyberbit November 2017 After detailed talks and negotiations, I was able to convince Elbit Systems of America to establish a 5-year business partnership with Metro State University who will be the host for the first Cyber-Range for the state of Minnesota. The cost of the entire Cyber range is approximated at $1,500,000. Farsight Security February 2016 To help students with their research work in the area of Cyber Threat Intelligence, I was able to obtain licenses for the passive DNS database as an in-kind donation, worth $96,000 VirusTotal March 2016 To teach the Cyber Threat Intelligence class and to facilitate student research projects, I negotiated an academic partnership with the company as an in-kind donation, worth $100, 000 ThreatConnect January 2016 To teach the Cyber Threat Intelligence class and to facilitate student research projects, I negotiated an academic partnership with the company as an in-kind donation, worth $100, 000 TrendMicro Corporation October 2015 To engage students in a cybersecurity community project, Trend Micro donated 75 licenses for their product “Maximum Security 10”. Each license was good for 3 devices, worth $3,375. Palo Alto Network June 2015 Acquired a physical Firewall box (PA200 Firewall, Lab Unit), worth $2,500. In addition, also acquired 50 licenses for Virtual Firewall devices for lab usage.

WORKSHOPS ORGANIZER During summer 2016, I organized and hosted the NSF Funded second CReST Faculty workshop (CyberWorkshops: Resources and Strategies for Teaching Cybersecurity in Computer Science) at Metropolitan State University. During summer 2015, I helped organized the STEM Explore Discover Apply (EDA) workshop at Metropolitan State University for middle school teachers to include Cyber Security as a component in their respective courses.
