We would also like to welcome Sam and Joanna our new parent volunteers who are working in the Children’s Centre front office on Thursday and Friday mornings, as well Karen who is helping with the midwife SEN Group – Starting 14 th April The group will support families and children with additional needs, with staff and professionals on hand to offer advice and support it provides a safe learning and play environment for children. Sessions will include sensory play equipment, dark dens, physical play and much more to aid your child’s play and development; it will also focus on play ideas to work with at home. This is a great time to meet and socialise with other parents and carers, share ideas, speak to professionals as well as a great social experience for your children. If you would like to attend simply turn up on Tuesday 14 th April 1.00-3.00pm Ante-natal nurturing programme If you are an expectant parent between 20-30 weeks in your pregnancy and want to take part in our 8 week Antenatal Nurturing Programme, which will help you get ready for the arrival of your baby. Understanding your babies’ development both before and after the birth, learn how to nurture yourself and look at your emotional wellbeing for your ‘new’ family. Please contact Carly at the Children’s Centre to book a place starting Tuesday 21 st April

“Here to help you” - Drop-in clinic‘Here To Help’ is a drop-in clinic designed to help and support families with children ages 0-5.

If you need any advice or support with:

Managing Behaviour - Parenting and Routines - Home Safety Housing Issues - Debt Advice - Health & Nutrition

The clinic will run alongside ‘Let’s Play’ 1.00-3.00pm every Thursday starting 16th April and will be led by Kamina.

Baby Massage

Baby Massage will be starting on the 17th April at 1.30-3.00pm. It offers a 5 week course for you and your Baby to learn together. The massage promotes

communication skills, improves sleep, bonding skills and decreases post-natal depression. If you are interested or require more information

please call the centre and speak to Carly.
