CLAY PIGEON RACEWAYSEPTEMBER 17/18/19

RoundFiveF100 90S TOUR 2021

The year is rapidly disappearing and the F100 Roadshow rolls into Clay Pigeon for Round 5 of the Championship, at one of the sports greatest tracks.

Set amongst the backdrop of North Dorset, it’s had it’s fill of legendary races in the past. This weekend you will all have the chance to make your own history.

Welcome to Dart Racing who are partnering us this weekend.

Buckmore Park saw Glenn Guest move to our new Formula C Gearbox Class and after a clean sweep in the heats he stormed to victory in the final followed home by Dale Foster and Neil Robinson.

New kid on the block in Aqua FX Heavy saw Chris Waddell make his journey down from Scotland worthwhile with a win in the Final. He’s thinking of leaving his dad behind more often.

Mitchell McLeod won in Ultra & Ethan Davis took victory in Lites.

Alister Topliss is well on his way to equalling Chris Derrick, in what some people thought was an unachievable goal of three Championships in succession, but records are there to be broken. Alister claimed victory in the Pre95 Class with James Verity second, and Andrew Godfrey took third with a steady drive all day. It was nice to see Ian Elliot back out on his Pre95 kit.

Buckmore wasn’t the best result for Joe Holloway, Chris Jiggins or Jade Goodwin, all of them suffering mechanical gremlins or injury issues.

Ry Leon showed why he’s the current No1 in Classic Tkm, with victory over Richard Sturdy, Jack Hamilton and Matt Parker, Novice Blake Green overcame some initial gremlins to finish well in the final.

The Pre 2000 Class saw some incident packed heats, but New kid on the block Owen Marlow had the speed, the luck and the skill to negotiate it all to come through and win the Final, followed home by Sam Hart and Tamsin Germain.

Ben Yeomans made up seven places to finish a not too shoddy fourth, Bowen Morris-Kent showed great skill and speed in the final to come though after some bad luck in the heats to finish a credible sixth.

Ross Curnow made up a staggering eleven places to win the Heavy class with Dayle Matthews second.

With some great Championship points up for grabs, we wish Good Luck to everyone taking part this weekend

From your F100 Team

Tim, Chris & Jay

Fuel must comply with the FIA unleaded fuels legislations - FIA Appendix J / Article 252. All unleaded roadside retail pump fuels normally comply with Article 252Please used any unleaded roadside retail pump fuel. Fuel tests will be carried out for fuel doping at the circuit and we reserved the right to seal fuel samples for additional testing off site.

We strongly recommend that you use Esso Supreme Unleaded from any South of England retail fuel station as this product is

most likely to contain the least amount of Ethanol according to Esso UK’s website.

Fuel Washing to remove Ethanol is acceptable but should only be performed if you are extremely risk adversed in the process and ensure proper control measures are deployed to avoid the risk of fire.

If in doubt, ask F100.
