1. Opening address (Greeting audience, introducing speaker)

i) A very good morning to the principal, teachers and fellow students. It gives me great pleasure to stand here and give speech.

ii) Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to give a speech.

iii) Good morning everyone. First of all, before I begin my speech today, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the school for inviting me to give a talk.

2. Introducing the topic

i) I would like to introduce my topic for today and that is “How to Prepare for Exams“.

ii) Today, I am going to talk on the topic “How to Keep Our Teeth Clean and Healthy”.

iii) My talk for today is entitled “Preventing Road Accidents”.

You have been selected to represent your school in a speech competition. You are asked to prepare a speech on the topic, “Protecting the Earth”. Write the speech using the notes below.

Do not litter- use dustbins

- do not throw rubbish into the rivers and drains

Plant more trees- for ecosystem

- soil erosion

Reduce air pollution- sharing transportation

- enforce law on open burning

Recycle used items- do not throw away used items

- decorate goods to make money

When writing your speech:

you may use all the notes elaborate on the given notes to make it more interesting add any other relevant information
