League Information 

Payment and Registration: 

The Fairouzah American Association (FAA) is launching its basketball 

league for Spring 2020! All proceeds will go towards the FAA Scholarship 

committee. Only new FAA basketball players will be able to request an 

FAA jersey. We expect returning players to use their jersey from the 

summer 2019 league in the spring 2020 league. Entrance fee is $165 per 

player. Must register by team, not by player. To register: 

 

1. Team captains must complete, scan and email this registration form 

to johnandlakers@gmail.com by February 7, 2020. 

AND 

2. Team captains must submit online individual or team payment of 

$165 per player by February 7, 2020. If received after February 7, you 

must pay $200 per player. To submit individual or team payment 

online: 

○ Visit faanonprofit.com, select “shop”, select “products”, select 

"FAA Spring 2020 Basketball League Team Payment" or “FAA 

Spring 2020 Basketball League Player Payment”, and enter 

name and team name. If your team has exactly 8 players, 

select “add to cart”. If your team has more than 8 players, 

select the amount of additional players you would like to add 

under “add a player” (for example, if you have 10 players on 

your team, select “2 Additional Players" under “add a player”), 

then select “add to cart”. Select “view cart”, “proceed to 

checkout”, fill out billing information accordingly, and select 

“place order”.

Players/Teams: 

Players must be community members and at least 15 years of age. Players 

must assemble their own teams. There must be a minimum of 8 and a 

maximum of 12 players per team. Each team must have a team captain 

and a team name. That being said, if you are the captain of a team and 

you satisfy the requirements above, please fill out this team registration 

form accordingly. Register as teams, not by individual player. 

 

Dates/Days/Times: 

Games will be played on Saturdays from the late morning to early 

afternoon, starting on March 7, 2020 through the end of May. Once teams 

are finalized, a schedule will be distributed with match-ups, game-times, 

assigned jersey color, and playoffs information. Jerseys will be provided 

and distributed on March 7, 2020, the first week of games.  

 

Gym: 

All games will be played at St. John Paul II STEM Academy at 

Bellarmine-Jefferson gym.

Scorekeeping: 

 

 

We will require that each team help keep score at least twice during the 

season. Once teams are finalized, a scorekeeping schedule will be 

distributed. 

 

Waitlist: 

If you are a player who wants to play in the league but cannot find a team 

to play on, text John Mubara at (818) 388-2436 to be placed on the waitlist. 

Players on the waitlist will either be picked up by registered teams or will 

join together to make new teams. 

 

Visitors: 

Game visitors will be charged a $5 entrance fee to watch games at the 

door. Children nine and under will be admitted free.

League information and updates will be communicated to players 

through email. That being said, please check your email often.

Registration scanning can be completed using various methods. 

However, an easy way to scan is through a mobile app called CamScanner 

(many other mobile apps can scan documents as well). This app is
