Recognitions In April 2019, I got the Qualification to function as Associate Professor in Statistics (ASN - National Scientific Qualification, in the area 13/D1 - Statistics) by the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of the University System (ANVUR). I am an honorary associate professor at the Facultatea de Matematica of the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Ia¸ si, Romania. I am a member of the Italian Statistical Society. Awards I have received the best paper award at the international conference IBIMA 2018 in Milan. My paper titled Analyzing Research Impact via Functional Data Analysis: A Powerful Tool for Scholars, Insiders, and Research Organizations, was appointed as the best one among the 950 received by the International Business Information Management Association for this con- ference. In 2018, I was awarded by the management committee of the COST Action IC1408 for the partecipation at the training school CRoNoS summer course on functional data analysis in Iasi (Romania). The grant was founded by the Horizon 2020 Framework Program of the European Union. Research I have been a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow and then a Researcher for a total of three years at the University of Chieti-Pescara, where I was the coordinator of a research project on the development and applications of statistical models based on functional data analysis (FDA) for classification, forecasting, and monitoring of business phenomena over time. I have been many times a visiting researcher at the University of Almerìa in Spain, for a period of about a year in total. Then, I have been a Clinical Research Biostatistician at the National University of Ireland Galway, where I have been working at the Clinical Research Facility in Galway. My research project dealt with causal inference and the implementation of probabilistic graphical models describing causal relationships using complex epidemiological datasets. Now, I am a Researcher in Statistics and Adjunct Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Physics of the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli in Caserta, Italy. I am the author of about seventy publications in international journals and books. My main contributions regard FDA, diversity, biostatistics, IRT, clustering, data streaming, fuzzy set theory, econometrics, R programming, and statistical models for business and finance. I participate in international research groups in Ireland, Italy, Spain, Romania, and the Czech Republic. Teaching My 10-year teaching experiences are in Statistics and Computer Science (both at the under- graduate and graduate level). I was an Adjunct Professor of Statistic for data analysis and, in 2014-2015, I was an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science. Now, I am an Adjunct Professor of Experimental Research Design, Bioinformatics, and Statistical Learning. I have experiences in teaching to Ph.D. students: Multivariate Statistics, R Programming, PCA, Clustering, and Statistics for Finance. SHORT RESUME

Education I am graduated with honours in Economics and Business from the University of Chieti-Pescara(Italy), and I have a PhD in Economics & Statistics.

Recognitions In April 2019, I got the Qualification to function as Associate Professor in Statistics (ASN -National Scientific Qualification, in the area 13/D1 - Statistics) by the Italian National Agencyfor the Evaluation of the University System (ANVUR). I am an honorary associate professor atthe Facultatea de Matematica of the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. I am amember of the Italian Statistical Society.

Awards I have received the best paper award at the international conference IBIMA 2018 in Milan.My paper titled Analyzing Research Impact via Functional Data Analysis: A Powerful Tool forScholars, Insiders, and Research Organizations, was appointed as the best one among the950 received by the International Business Information Management Association for this con-ference. Editorial I am the chief and managing editor of Ratio Mathematica and Science & Philosophy, and Iam the creator and maintainer of the website of these journals. I am the editor of three bookspublished by Springer in the series Studies in Systems, Decision, and Control and one book inthe series Studies Fuzziness and Soft Computing (In Press). I am an associate editor of theJournal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems and the Journal of Statistics and Management Systemspublished by Taylor & Francis, and a member of the editorial board of Italian Journal of Pureand Applied Mathematics.
