The superb Annique product range has stood the test of time. The ever-increasing selection is creating new pathways into the world of skin care, health and beauty, and with all of the cutting-edge research and development into anti-ageing products and their superior moisturising and nourishing actives, we will all certainly be staying Forever Young. The scientific research into the rich value of the Rooibos herb continues to astound all of us, and we can clearly see by the Top 20 Best Sellers listed later in this Replique, that the benefits of this natural and miraculous herb are rewarding our clients and Consultants in ways they never thought possible. It is a heart-warming fact that in this time of “red hearts and blowing kisses”, Cupid has been targeting our top products with great attention and accuracy and they are definitely causing a flutter in the hearts of Consultants and clients countrywide. We have highlighted Annique’s Top 20 individual product sales by Rand value for your insight and information, listed on page 2. There is a change month-by-month, but it is interesting to note the consistent products that rate amongst the Top 20 over a period of six months.

Giving our clients superior service is an added benefit to offering them products “off the top shelf.” Our aim in February and indeed in every month, is to rise high above any other skin care and health company in offering our clients a “full package.” This package should consist of your excellent care, attention and service, coupled with a product range that far surpasses anything else a customer can purchase in retail or online, or even in the direct selling arena. Ultimately your after-sales service should show your interest in their feedback on the results of the product and your ability to “plus the plan” in offering

them additional products to add even greater value to their health and skin care routines. This will benefit your add-on sales and of course, will increase your earnings. It is all about value-adding focus.

What is interesting to note is that Lucid Ultimate Moisturiser for Dry Skin tops the list for both categories, i.e. units sold and the value of the Retail Selling Price. It seems that this is a product our clients quite simply cannot get enough of! We have seen this trend increasing and have recently been awarded the Bronze Medal at the Institute of the South African Packaging Awards Ceremony, along with our packaging supplier, Consupaq, for the complete Lucid range. It proves again that this Lucid range is an all-round winner! When you further analyse the best sellers in the Top 20 range, you will clearly see why Annique is destined to become the top Direct Selling Company in South Africa. This is due to our USP – Unique Selling Proposition – which of course is due to the Rooibos infusion in every single product, within every range. Not to mention the valuable health benefits of drinking six cups of Rooibos Tea every day. The sales and unit volumes of Rooibos Tea in the various health indications speak for themselves. If your clients are not taking advantage of these benefits – now is the time.

Take the Valentine Challenge: If your all-time favourite product is not in the Top 20 – find creative ways to introduce it to more clients, train your consultants on it and increase your sales, expand your network – and be in the Top 20!

February has always been associated with the ever-fashionable Valentine’s month – a date on the calendar that has been around for centuries. It is in this season when cute little cupid gets out his bow and arrow and strikes a chord of love into the hearts of many. We know that you are as in love with Annique as we are, and during this month of February we encourage you to put a little heart into all of your client’s parcels, or a little Valentine note that says “We love Annique – and we love you!” You might be wonderfully surprised at the result. Remember it is the little touches of excellence that make the difference. People will forget what you said, they will forget what you did, but they will never forget the way you made them feel! Discover, Grow and Prosper!FAST FORWARD IN FEBRUARY by taking time to Nurture the Seeds of ProsperityFollowing on from the success of the “Kick Start your Business” events throughout the country in January 2014, we are going to “Fast Forward” in February. The way to effectively and meaningfully fast forward, is to ensure that you make every moment count. Be certain that you are effective in the minute, and the hour will automatically be more productive. At the end of a day, you will have put in your best efforts for that day, and better still, you will be well prepared for the opportunities and demands of the next day. Do this day after day, and February will give you results and rewards that could go well beyond your highest expectations. February is also traditionally the shorter month of the year, but don’t let that dictate to you or deter you. Simply Fast Forward in your ideas, plans and most importantly in your actions. This way you will not waste a minute of a fabulous February.

The power word for February is “Nurture”. Our theme for 2014 is “Discover – Grow – Prosper.” Discovering your “seed” is the first step to prosperity. Your “seeds” in your business are your clients and Consultants that you have brought into your “garden”. The more seeds you have, the greater your harvest will be. Once we have discovered the seed, the next step is to nurture these seeds of prosperity. To nurture means to care for, cultivate, to foster and to encourage. Apply these kernels of wisdom to nurture your seeds of future prosperity:

• Remember, people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. Express your care!

• Give regular and consistent training on principles of the Annique business.

• Be committed to grow and develop your people and make them strong in their own business.

• Sincerely reward and recognise the people in your team.

• Always thank clients for their orders – even it is just one product. It is the experience they will remember.

• Operate your business with daily disciplines and stick to your principles.

• Sustain the momentum of growing your network.• Do not be weary in doing good, for in due season

you will reap the harvest.

Prosperity is the reward you receive for adding value to the lives of others.Prosperity is the added benefit of applying daily disciplines to your life and business, and for managing yourself and your tasks diligently each day. Most of all enjoy what you do and ultimately prosperity will be yours. Remember the parable of the sower who went out to sow some seed? Make sure your seed gives you an abundant 100% return for your efforts.

Consultants took great interest in dressing up for the occasion and their creativity knew no bounds. Best dressed prizes went to Consultants who had dressed up like Cinderella’s step-mother and the ugly sisters, Prince Charming, Cruella Deville from 101 Dalmations, Wilma from the movie Shrek, Jasmine, Woody from Toy Story, Liewe Heksie, The Wicked Witch and Annique’s Minnie Mouse. It was a delightful sight to recognise many Minnie Mouse ears and so many unusual headdresses peeking up all over the auditorium – we had to look twice to see who was underneath! Ciska Swanepoel made a statement with her Superwoman-with-wings outfit, Adele du Toit in her Jasmine dress looked a picture, and Renette Josling, Ronel van Heerden and Estelle October looked adorable in their Princess Crowns. Ernest hosted the day as a dashing Prince Charming along with modern-day Tinkerbell, Angelique. Xen Ludick dramatised the day with his Captain Hook opening and at the close of the conference, launched the Première Theme for 2014 (Around the World in 90 Ways) as Phileas Fogg, together with Ronel as the Indian Princess, Auoda. Bunches of fun were had by all!Stirring stories had the audience captivated – and Storytime had all the drama of emotion as we heard of social responsibility, facial marathons that were held during the past year; incredible healing of ailments and injuries through the use of Annique products and the amazing recount of children’s improvement from ADD and learning disabilities, all because of the phenomenal properties in Rooibos that have made wonderful changes in these little lives. Training on products and new product launches abounded and the day was capped with tens of thousands of Rands worth of prizes being drawn for very lucky winners. One of the stories of a miraculous healing was told by Paul Louw himself. Having been involved in a serious car accident 13 years ago, doctors discovered that after a severe break in his left leg, his muscles had suffered grave damage and the blood flow was unable to move back up his leg. Painful Venus ulcers and blood clots grew on both legs and the blockages in the veins had to be removed surgically over three skin grafts. The wounds never stopped oozing and it affected Paul’s social life. Marie du Plessis Consultant from Pretoria asked Chris Pohl, her Promoter and Leader, to assist and guide her in recommending specific Annique products to assist Paul. This was way back in November 2012. Paul was very skeptical about any products as even the medical applications made absolutely no difference to his wounds. Chris took the lead and told Paul of the efficacy of Annique products and that Chris and Marie would sponsor his first months' products. He was given Relax tea, Detox tea, Night Rest tea, Body Expert Circulex, Opti-C and the ever-popular Resque Crème. After two weeks Chris and Marie did a follow-up visit and they were stunned at the progress. Annique was the solution above every other prescription. The photos taken proved the rapid healing of the wound. Of course, Paul is happy and smiling and is very impressed with Annique. He says he will definitely recommend it to everybody! Well done to Chris, Marie and Paul for your contribution to Storytime.Sonia Botha from Pretoria has been in the Annique business for 18 years. At Storytime, she highlighted the following three perspectives for the audience:1. When Sonia heard that Annique was setting up a

network marketing profit plan, she knew undoubtedly that she would be able to generate passive income from her network.

2. In a time of trial and challenge she suffered from a heart condition and was unable to attend to her business or her network. In this time her income didn’t just remain static, but it grew by 4% as her team continued to work in her absence. Where else in the world are you guaranteed at least the same monthly income when you are not working for a long period?

3. Probably the most fulfilling aspect is the fact that one doesn’t only generate passive income, but you have the opportunity of influencing, improving and changing peoples’ lives.

Thank you Sonia, for flying the Annique flag with pride.Children’s health and improvement in learning abilities were addressed by Chrizel Strauss from Pretoria. Chrizel is not only a successful Annique Consultant, but she also owns and runs a nursery school for children with learning difficulties. As part of her daily program, Chrizel provides the children with good nourishment and healthy drinks each day. Rather than giving them cold drinks with tartrazine and preservatives, she decided to give them Rooibos tea with a little honey and the results have been astounding. The children are calmer, less aggressive, more focused and more attentive. Their learning abilities have improved and there are many happy Moms and Teachers, thanks to Rooibos and Chrizel’s commitment to their development.A memorable event in 2013 was the Facial Marathon hosted by Belinda Fourie and her team in Pretoria. Belinda had many people in tears at Storytime, as she shared that the proceeds from this event would go towards children who

have lost limbs or eyes due to cancer and who need to get prosthesis’ made. Belinda and her team were so committed to this event that they signed a contract with CANSA-TLC especially in aid of those children whose parents do not have medical aids or other funds available for these prostheses. Their only hope is in receiving donations. Annique linked up with “Cupcakes of Hope” and “Shop4Cakes” who sponsored cupcakes for each guest in order to raise these funds. Each guest was asked to further donate for a cupcake and R7 200 was raised. The other successful idea was to have a Bargain Bin special of the day and a whopping R40 000 was raised. The event took the format of a "mass pamper" and R120 000 Annique products were sold on that day. New consultants also registered on the day, but the main focus was to raise funds for such a worthy cause. Thank you to Belinda and her team for showing us all that caring is indeed sharing. An Annique salute to you!

Enter the fantasy world of Storytime at Annique. The wonder of this fairytale however is that it is not a fantasy world at all – but real time, real place, real stories, real successes that are being enjoyed every day in every way by our Annique Clients and Consultants countrywide. 400+ Annique Consultants were welcomed to a Disney-type themed ATM at Union Caterers in October. Tables were lavishly decked with royal blue velvet tablecloths and chair covers, brightly contrasted with yellow helium balloons and gift packs of yellow and white. Large screens were alive with clips and quotes from Walt Disney films and the rewards and recognitions were themed after famous movies like: The Lion King, Peter Pan, and Mary Poppins. Quite a sight to behold. Lunch was a novel and fun way to celebrate Storytime in the form of gourmet burgers and packets of things all yummy and sweet for dessert.

C O N S U L T A N T P R O F I L E

Petro is a vibrant people’s person whose motto in life revolves around loving your neighbour as you love yourself. Having just turned a fabulous forty, she resides in the friendly city of Port Elizabeth, where she runs her business from home. Petro was first introduced to Annique products at the age of 14. Annique was the only product that did not cause allergic reactions to her sensitive skin. Having qualified as a lawyer, Petro saw Annique as an opportunity to earn a rewarding and sustainable income. “Annique gave me the freedom to stay at home with my children and stopped me from following a career in Law that wasn’t my passion.”

THE WELL-BALANCED VENTER FAMILYDuring her 16-year marriage with mountain-bike-enthusiast hubby, Etienne, they were blessed with three talented children. Cara (11) loves music and hockey. Jan-Philip (8) is a young Picasso, plays rugby and enjoys fishing. Little Liza-Mari (3) is an energetic dancer with the sweet voice of a nightingale. The Venter family adores camping and the outdoors. One of Petro’s favourite things is to hike in the Knysna forest or go for long walks on the scenic beach.

SOUND ADVICE“Never give up and take the Project 100 and one-metre rule seriously. It takes time to build a good business, good relationships and trust with clients and Consultants. Put your plan on paper and stick to it, if things do not go to plan, recalculate and push through. Remain focused!”

ANNIQUE, THE TEACHER“Treat everybody with respect and love. Every client or Consultant should feel as if they are your only one.” Petro has a great passion for new markets and cultures, especially the Xhosa people from Port Elizabeth. Her Xhosa clients are starting to teach her their language…one of these days she will speak Xhosa fluently!Petro says that her youngest daughter is so conditioned to using Annique’s Resque Crème that every time she falls or gets hurt, she shouts: “Mommy, mommy… Resque please!”

travel incentivesONCE, TWICE, VIETNAM WITH ANNIQUEPetro was fortunate to quality for Vietnam twice in one year! Wow! She took her husband Etienne with her on the first tour. “We both love to tour the world seeing new places, but with three young children, we decided to put all our dreams of touring aside. The Vietnam tour came as an absolute spoil for both of us!”

HAPPY CLIENT TESTIMONIALS• A new Consultant recently tried the Body Xpert Circulex Cellulite

treatment and could see phenomenal results on her legs within six days!

• The Resque Crème is a miraculous treatment for burns. My sister is a physiotherapist and she sees a remarkable difference within a few days of application.

• A client followed advice and used Essense Miracle Tissue Oil and Resque Crème after a cigarette lighter exploded in her hand. Even the client’s doctor couldn’t believe how quickly her hand healed.

• Essense Intense Repair Serum repaired the eczema on a Consultant’s husband’s face.

• Personally Petro has many accolades about Annique’s Green Rooibos Tea and Lifestyle Shake, which she drinks every morning. It keeps her healthy and she hasn’t been sick during the past four years and believes her daily ritual has everything to do with it!

ANNIQUE FAVOURITES“I love to sell the facial products. It’s very rewarding to do a mini-facial and see the results immediately.”

Petro cannot live without:• Lucid Ultimate Moisturiser for Dry Skin, as this is the only

moisturiser that gives enough moisture for her sensitive skin in winter.

• Sensi Crème and Miracle Tissue Oil, because they are like a tonic for her skin every morning and every night.

• Lifestyle Shake – the whole family uses the shake and they just cannot start a productive day, without Chocolate Shake mixed with Green Rooibos Tea or Metabolism Tea.

The first-time kit order will only be executed directly from the Annique Home Office. If the order is for R1500 or more (pay R750), it will be delivered free of charge to the new Consultant.

If the order is for less than R1500, the new Consultant will pay the applicable courier fee. The first order must be a kit order.

If the new Consultant wants to place an order for less 25% on specials or any standard-line products, she can do so by completing a second order form with the extra products and attach it to the kit order. If the 25% order and the kit order of less 50% is more than R1500, free delivery is applicable. In other words, having placed an order for a first time kit, if the value is less than R1500, you may place a second order at less 25%, and attach it to the kit order to make the collective value more than R1500, in which case delivery will be free.

The next and all future orders for the new recruit will be at 25% discount, with a minimum of R1500 per order to qualify for the free delivery. Orders to the value of R500 or more will be charged at between R40 and R85 per delivery, depending on your specific location. Check with Customer Care to clarify the exact charges for your delivery.

The new Consultant completes a registration form and places her first time kit order (less 50%) on all price list products – limited to one of each product (excluding specials and business tools). Remember to add the R15 Administration Fee to this order and send it with a copy of her ID to Rashika Perumal at Annique Home Office at [email protected] or fax it to 086 584 7832. Rashika will add the membership number to the first order. The Consultant will then receive this unique Annique membership number. This unique number must be used on all orders, products, complaints and correspondence with Home Office.

nIf your new recruit orders a R2500 kit in February, pay R1250. You as the Sponsor will receive the Forever Young Crème de Nuit 50ml to the value of R239 absolutely FREE.

nThe Forever Young Crème de Nuit 50ml for Sponsors will be sent with their orders from 20 March until end of May 2014 only. Thereafter, no Forever Young Crème de Nuit 50ml will be distributed.

Let everyone at your Pamper Party scrub and apply a masque on the back of only one hand. This technique is also very useful if you have limited time, for instance, if your Pamper Party is at an office during lunch time. Once this has been done and the scrub and masque have been removed, let them compare both their hands by holding them next to one another. The results are amazing! The treated hand looks plump, moisturised and even toned. Be sure to include a scrub and masque in your parties. You will be sure to see your sales of these items skyrocket!

Many people disregard the importance of using a scrub and masque in their daily skin care routine. You, as an Annique Consultant, need to explain to your customers why these products are important and how it can benefit their skin.

Here is how scrubs and masques work, why they are important and how they improve the skin:

Every 30 days, your skin creates new skin cells in the skin’s lower layer, which is called the dermis. During the 30-day period the new skin cells migrate to the outer layer of the skin, called the epidermis. When the cells reach the epidermis they die. This can leave the skin with an uneven, flaky or even dry appearance. For oily and acne prone skin, the dead skin cell clogs the pores and can lead to unwanted acne breakouts. By using a scrub you will help to give your skin an even tone, keep it clean, help unclog pores and prevent acne breakouts.

Exfoliating also stimulates blood circulation in the skin, transporting toxins out of skin cells and delivering nutrients to these cells. For dry, mature and normal skin types, removing dead skin cells from the skin’s surface reveals more beautiful healthy skin, for a younger complexion. Exfoliating also prepares the skin for treatment products that follow. With the dead skin cells removed from the skin’s surface, products can penetrate deeper into the skin, where they can work their magic, improving and enhancing the skin’s appearance faster.

Take advantage of the fabulous scrub discounts this month! See page 11 for details.

Facial masques are designed to supplement a weekly skin care routine. The use of a masque is essential as it can nourish the skin and address any skin care challenges. It is important that you use a masque for your specific skin type. By adding a masque to your weekly skin care routine, you will improve the health of your skin and enhance your complexion.

Annique’s daily skin care ranges each contain a scrub and masque specifically developed for certain skin types.

Now that you know why a scrub and masque are important and how it benefits the skin, you will need to show your client. The best way to do this is to show people how their skins improve after using it. Pamper Parties provide the ideal opportunity to showcase your products and nothing is more dramatic than instant results.

LifestyleSlimming Clubs

Obesity has become a national epidemic. Nearly 40% of women in South Africa are suffering from obesity. Our country has been identified as the third most overweight nation in the world, after the US and UK.

Hosting a slimming club is an outstanding way to help overweight people. Remember, individuals who are trying to lose weight, do much better when they have a support group, than when trying to deal with it on their own. Your Lifestyle Club can be that support group.

Create life-changing opportunities – when you help others lose weight, their whole lives change as a result. They get more energy, their health improves and their lives literally change for the better.

Save time – getting your club members together at a set time every week saves time, as you can motivate the group at once, instead of spending individual time with each member.

Members share in the responsibilities – you don’t have to do all the work at your weekly meetings. Invite speakers,

allow for group sessions where members can help one another overcome obstacles, and most importantly, let winners share their testimonials with the group. That makes for excellent motivation!

Huge money making opportunities – by selling products that make a difference in people’s lives.

Build your business – successful slimmers get so many enquiries on how they lost weight, that they often join as Consultants and in turn help others to also lose weight! They are their own best advertisement.

What’s in it for you?

Where do I start?• Message and

e-mail everyone in your address book, notifying them that you are going to start a Lifestyle Slimming Club and competition. Also ask if they know anyone who would be interested.

• Place an advertisement in your local newspaper.

• Place a leaflet in your Beautè, communicating the details.

• SUPPORT – slimmers achieve their goals much easier if they have moral support and encouragement from others who are embarking on the same journey.

• CONVENIENCE – host your club at a set time and place every week. That way if people skip a week due to other commitments, they can join again the following week.

• MOTIVATION – members motivate one another and share ideas. Prizes for individuals who lose the most weight, are also great motivators. It can be something small; the recognition of their achievement is key.

• RECOGNITION – recognising achievements motivates slimmers to keep at it.

• A SENSE OF BELONGING – a club provides a “community” of like-minded individuals with a common goal.

How do club members benefit?

Host your own Lifestyle Slimming competition!Hosting your own competition provides excellent goals and motivation for your club members. It can also significantly boost your club and sales. Here are some useful practical tips, on hosting your own competition.

Take pictures (front and side) before your club members embark on their slimming journey. At the end of the competition, take “after” pictures to show off their efforts. You can then use these pictures in marketing your next competition and your business. Consult your product training manual for more tips on how to get the most from your “before” and “after” pictures.

Ask an entry fee. People who pay to enter a competition show greater commitment to the process. An entry fee allows you to create value to your club members, without costing you a lot of money. Use the fees to buy prizes for the winners, snacks at your get-togethers or pay speakers to talk at your events. You can even include a product, like one of the Herbal Teas in your entry fee. The idea is for your club to be self-sustainable and not be a big expense to you. Suggested entry fee: R150 to R200.

Give prizes to winners. Even the smallest gesture can make a big difference. Here are some tips on prize giving and ideas.

o Get corporates or friends to donate or sponsor prizes. Good ideas are make-overs, hair style consultations, clothing vouchers, weekends away, etc.

o Ask members to bring lifestyle-friendly snacks or foods that you can use for a lucky draw or for the weekly winners of the most weight and/or centimeters lost.

o Add some Annique skin care or body products to your weekly or overall competition prizes to expose your club members to the other products that you sell. Your discount and taking advantage of monthly special offers allow you to save money and create massive value.

Annique Home Office has an array of documents that can help you to administer your Lifestyle Club. E-mail [email protected] to get a copy of these professional documents or consult your Product Training Manual for more information.

• Be sure to have saleable stock on hand should your member need it straightaway. Remember a “slimmer” is usually impulsive and will usually take anything you recommend – availability is crucial.

• Display products at every meeting and include skin care, body care, fragrance and other ranges. Your customers will get a chance to experience the other products that you offer, and you can sell more!

• Make your club a fun, relaxing environment that people want to attend.

• Get-togethers don’t have to be long, depending on the number of people in the club. It can be anything from half an hour to two hours maximum.

• Make lifestyle easy for your club members – solve their problems and answer any questions. You can build up frequently asked questions and use these again to help your downline if when they embark on their own Lifestyle Club.

• Work together with other Consultants if managing a club seems too daunting. The more people you get involved, the easier it is to spread the responsibility and workload.

• Send weekly e-mails or SMS your club members to show support and motivation.

• Encourage a recipe club amongst members, sharing great recipes that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

When is the best time to start my Lifestyle Club?NOW! January and February are perfect months, as people generally want to lose weight after the festive season. August is also a good month to start – just before summer. Your club can run anytime of the year. People want to lose weight, no matter what time of the year!

Key Annique products to display when hosting a Slimming Club:• Annique Rooibos Lifestyle Shakes• Annique Herbal Teas• The Body Xpert Range• The Forever Slim Range • The Forever Healthy Range

What do I do at my Lifestyle Club meetings? Here is an example of a typical weekly agenda. • Opening – welcome everyone to the meeting and start with

some motivation.• Weighing and measuring – this is important to track success.

Weigh and measure people individually, in a private room or area. Record progress weekly.

• Open session – allow for questions, tips and successes to be shared with the group.

• Short motivational talk. Here you can share information on any of the following topics:

o Lifestyle philosophyo Health talkso Product informationo Problem solving – how to handle common dilemmaso Recipe ideas

• Rewards – reward the person/s who lost the most weight in the past week. It can be something small. Let them share their solutions and stories with the group.

Bronze for AnniqueThe GOLD PACK AWARDS were put in place by The Institute of Packaging (SA) to improve the overall design of South African packaging to allow our country to compete with sophisticated foreign packaging on the home and in export markets.

In 1975, the institute held its first awards programme in which there were just two entries. From these small beginnings, the programme has grown to an event of national stature, attracting entries from a large cross-section of the Southern African packaging industry.

Annique Health and Beauty won the bronze medal for the amazing Lucid jar and tube packaging at the function in October 2013 hosted by Institute of Packaging of SA.

R30 000 to Pippie KrugerAnnique Consultants collected R30 000, which was handed over to Anice Kruger by Annique Home Office on 20 September, to aid Pippie's recovery after 80% of her body was covered in third degree burns from a firelighter incident in 2011. Pippie is now four years old and is currently healing better than ever, thanks to the help of Annique's wonderful products, especially the Intense Repair Serum, Hair Nutrition, Resque Crème and Miracle Tissue Oil!

Anice and Pippie also brought Ernest du Toit a special gift – the newly launched book, “Pippie”. It is a story about strength, love and miracles.

It tells the story of a New Year’s celebration that turned into a nightmare when fire-lighter gel exploded.

The flames enveloped the young Pippie, leaving her with third-degree burns over 80 percent of her body.

It also tells the miracle of how Pippie survived and recovered. The book, “Pippie”, is the story of a little girl’s fight for survival against all odds and of faith that conquered all.

The book sends a message of hope and faith as a wrenching tale unfolds about Pippie and her family’s journey on the road to the little girl’s recovery.

Sau du Plessis, head of publishing at Christian Art Publishers, said it was decided to publish the story, because it attracted a lot of international attention.

“It was also an inspiring and faith-filled story,” said Du Plessis. “What touched me most about the story is that it testifies to something much greater than even Pippie. This is about all the miracles that have happened in her life.”

Kruger said the story would bring hope and trust to everyone who read it – no matter their cultural background or religious persuasion.

BONJOUR (good day)The Annique Achievers of the Passport to Paradise competition donned their sun hats and had their bags packed full of excitement and enthusiasm on Monday, 11 November 2013. Everyone agreed that there could be nothing better on a Monday morning than to board an aircraft bound for the tropical island of Mauritius! The different colours in the ocean, viewed from a few thousand feet above are beyond description. A smooth landing, an air-conditioned bus in 29 degree heat and an hour long drive, took us to the gates of the Club Med La Plantation d’Albion. The Guest Officers and staff of Club Med welcomed us with cool towels, mint tea and warm smiles. The Chef

d’Village, Monsieur Barq, personally welcomed the Annique travellers and the team gave us a rundown of what we could all expect for the week. Travellers were assigned their own porter who showed them to their suites. Beckoned by a gorgeous sunset, the group met in the breezy, beautifully detailed fuchsia and white entertainment deck overlooking a rimless pool. The cocktails called and the group started to settle into their new home for the next week. We were escorted by a South African Guest Officer named Brandon, who led the way to the sumptuous all-Mauritian buffet dinner. Traditional Sega dancing followed, where the Annique group swayed their way onto the dance floor – some until late in the night….

BON APPETITCatamaran cruising along the Mauritian coast of aquamarine and turquoise waters, on-board barbecuing of freshly caught lobsters and fish, and swimming off the little islets, were some of the highlights of the holiday. Mamesolo and Tseliso from Lesotho kept the dancing tradition going even on the catamaran. Willie was not without his dance moves either. It was a wonderful day of teambuilding, connecting with and getting to know each other in a relaxed and natural atmosphere.

Mauritius is known for its blue sky, white beaches, turquoise waters and lots of sun.

Ernest took Irma, Helena and Lindie snorkelling in the deep sea to swim with the dolphins. A memorable experience that will remain with them for many years to come. Sky-high applause to Katrien, Helena and Lindie for accepting the high-trapeze challenge. You gals rock! Riana and Irma definitely improved the economy of the local beach sellers. Riana even made a last day dash back to the beach to buy that last sarong…. But, I guess we have to ask the question, “What would an Annique incentive holiday be without shopping, shopping and more shopping?” Suitcases went back to South Africa a whole lot heavier than when they arrived. Many consultants crowned their trip with sightseeing tours to the botanical gardens, the local temples and of course the grand bazaar for more shopping.

BONSOIR (good evening)Our last evening under the starlit skies of Grand Baie was a showpiece. Everyone in the Annique group joined in the “White-Night” theme. A full moon came out to greet us as we all gathered at the Le Phare deck right on the ocean, to celebrate the memories created in the week and to hand out fun awards in recognition of everyone’s participation. The White-Night group photo is evidence of a great time had by all. Our farewell dinner boasted lobster, caviar, foie gras, Asian and Italian-style food and a white chocolate fountain! Yum-yum. The night was crowned with a fire and water extravaganza at the main pool area. A fantastic firework display bid us a bright Bon Voyage.

MERCI (thank you)And so we bid marvellous Mauritius a fond farewell, memories in abundance came home with us – and now it’s back to our respective Annique businesses to put plans in place for Passport to Paradise 2014. I wonder where that destination will be? Will you be there?

We look forward to hosting you!

At the Reform Club, Fogg gets involved in an argument over an article in The Daily Telegraph stating that with the

opening of a new railway section in India, it is now possible to travel around the world in 80 days. He accepts a wager (bet) for £20,000 (roughly £1,510,000 today) from his fellow club members, which he will receive if he makes it around the world in 80 days. Accompanied by Passepartout – his assistant, he leaves London by train at 8:45 P.M. on Wednesday, 2 October 1872 and was back at the same time 80 days later, Saturday, 21 December 1872!Annique has made this story its own – but with a twist!
