aboutyouruniquecircumstances,sodon’tforgettoaskHimfortailor-madeideasand

solutionstoyoursituation.

• Askyourselfregularly,“What

wouldJesuswantmeto

do?WhatwouldHewant

myreactiontobetothis

situation?”AskHimtohelp

youtohavethosereactions.

• Meeknessandhumilityareboth

fruitsoftheSpirit(Galatians5:22–

23)andpartofChrist’snature.It

doesn’tcomenaturallytobemeek

andhumble;however,theLord

canhelpustakeonthesequalities

andmanifestthemtoothers.

Ecclesiastes3:1(NIV)says,“Thereisatimeforeverything,andaseasonforeveryactivity

underheaven.”There’satimetowitnessthroughwords,andthere’satimetosimply

loveandbeagoodfriend,whileprayingfortheLordtoworkinthelivesofothers.Itmay

takedays,weeks,months,orevenyears,insomecases,forpeopletoopentheirheartto

Jesus,buttheloveyougiveothersthroughprayingforthemisneverwasted.

• Trynottomakepeoplefeelthatyou’re

rightandthey’rewrong.AskJesustohelp

youtofindthebalanceinhelpingothers

understandwhereyou’recomingfrom,yet

notcomingacrossasaknow-it-allorasifyouhavenothingtolearnfromothers.

• Standupforyourconvictions,anddon’tbeswayedbypeerpressureor

theopinionsofothers.AsktheLordto

helpyoudemonstrateyourconvictions

inameekandlovingway,andalso

togiveyoufaithtostandyourground

evenifyourdecisionseemsunpopular.

It’simportanttobetruetowhatyou

believeinyourheart,andifyoucando

thatwithhumility,peoplewillcometoadmireandrespectyouforit.
