Visitors of Aquatech Amsterdam 2008 profited from numerous networking opportunities with fellow water professionals and learned about hundreds of new products. Aquatech Amsterdam proved itself as the ideal platform to get up to speed with all the latest innovations and technologies. The majority of the visitors were final decision makers and a large number represented local and national governmental institutions from the Netherlands and abroad. 82% of the visitors intend to visit the next edition in 2011.

Exhibitors were very positive about Aquatech Amsterdam. 90% of the exhibitors were ‘satisfied’ to ‘very satisfied’ with the exhibition and the same number would recommend exhibiting at Aquatech Amsterdam to others. The most innovative products on the market were put into the spotlight at the Innovation Plaza and the AquaStages hosted over 47 seminars and lively debates. For the first time exhibitors were able to find new employees via the newly introduced Jobs-in-Water-wall.

“Aquatech stands out from other exhibitions. The dedicated water technologists create a friendly atmosphere, giving visitors more time for useful conversations.”

Björn von Euler, Director of Communications at ITT

“This concept is currently more efficient than a wider exhibition, the quality of the exhibition visitors is very high and this provides us with the opportunity to come into contact with potential clients. The financial crisis did not appear to have much of an impact. Water will always be in demand.”

Menno Holterman, Director at Norit

“Aquatech Amsterdam is the ideal platform to get in contact with water professionals from all over Europe.”

Arnold Kroon, Sr. Marketing Coordinator at 3M

“During Aquatech Amsterdam we were able to welcome many customers to our new stand in the Holland Pavilion. It was a pleasure to do business and in the meantime, watch the pipe fitting competition from our stand. It is a formula we will definitely build on in the future.”

Harry Keijzer, manager Prince Kunststofbouw B.V.

“Aquatech Amsterdam 2008 again was the perfect platform to meet our existing clients and also to welcome new relations. Aquatech was and will remain a valuable exhibition for us.”

Wim Vandebroek, Sales director Benelux at HACH LANGE
